I’ve had special fall meal - my favorite pumpkin soup & bison marinara (or carbonara). The soup tastes very healthy and sweet, but not too much. The bison pasta was something I’ve never tried before and I would definitely be back! It’s on a spicier side (fyi).
I’m a fan of this place for two reasons - it’s located not far from my apartment. Second - I really love stuff there. Everyone is extremely nice & helpful. It’s like a friends house where you can have a good drink & eat very nice food, while also chatting with great people.
Would definitely be back. 🙌🏻
Oh, don’t forget to try the shrimp dumplings (shumai) & tomato soup!!! Also truffle fries 🍟

Great service, food was all right, the broccolini and mussels sauce I had were too heavy for my taste.

Vibey restaurant and bar not too far from Coolidge Corner. During the warmer months, they have outdoor seating, I think they even keep it open into the fall. A friend and I stopped by for a few drinks and some shareable plates. The space inside is pretty small, so it can get busy, but the service was quick.
The menu’s pretty extensive, with full entrées plus a great selection of apps and small plates to share. We ordered a few things to snack on: dumplings (shaped more like fried crab rangoons but with short rib in them), croquettes, and the pretzel. Everything hit the spot for a casual weekday night out.
I love spots where you can share small plates, and the croquettes were definitely the highlight, so good we ended up ordering a second round. The short rib dumplings were also tasty. The pretzel, though, wasn’t great. The cheese dip was a bit too thick, and the pretzel itself felt a little dry and stale.
Overall, the atmosphere was great, and we left satisfied. Definitely a chill place to go with a few friends or for a casual date.

I tried their Pan Roasted Faroe Island Salmon on the day that I visited. It was an excellent choice! There is a gluten free menu, and they have a full bar. On street metered parking is available. During the summer they have additional seating outdoors.
My husband and I had a really good lunch here on a Weds in June of 2025. We were staying nearby and decided to give them a try. The fries are sooo good! Loved the Cuban. The wings are alright. Service was average.
Food was just ok. Burger looked great I would go back to try that.
All of my friends are 21-24. We were asked for our IDs. We showed them kindly and were denied because they “had to be Massachusetts IDs”. We are all from other states and are in town for college. The bartender was dismissive and rude. Experience was unpleasant.
Excellent cod dish, always pleasant atmosphere. I usually eat Bison pasta at The Abbey which is also very good. Their beers are of high quality and always changing.
This is truly a neighborhood joint. I always love that the staff is genuinely nice and super attentive. I always have a great time here, whether for a drink or a meal, always a solid choice!

Very cute outdoor seating. My second time here and the food combinations are pretty interesting and executed well. The croquettes and arancini are TINY but interesting taste. The spicy tomato bisque had just enough spice to be spicy to me (I can't handle spice). The gnocchi I had last time was good. My friend's fries with aioli were sooo good bcus they were thin.

A Fantastic Local Gem in Brookline, MA. Drink menu is full of creative mixtures that pack a punch-strong and bold flavors with a touch of elegance. The food itself is just as impressive, boasting complex and well-balanced flavors. Impeccably well-run, with friendly servers always eager to help. An inviting atmosphere that keeps you coming back. Open every day until 2AM, the perfect late-night spot. With gluten-free and vegetarian options on the menu. We've been here many times, and each visit leaves us impressed by both the service and the consistently excellent dishes. For a cozy, inviting place with fantastic food and drinks, The Abbey is a must-visit.
