went with friends, all of us had problems with the meals we got, after 1.45 wait at the table, then hair in food was the last part of the deal, and ended up taking our meals to go...only to trash them walking out and going somewhere else!

For a hotel location I had lower expectations. However can recommend it as the breakfast burritos ordered was good and service was pleasant.

Nice area, looks like some upgrades have been made to hallways and rooms at the hotel since my last visit. Downside is housekeeping. Forgot to clean the room on a day when it was requested. The old days of daily housekeeping seems to be gone unless requested. $40 a day to park, be aware.

Not bad for a Lobby bistro.

This hotel has a friendly and helpful staff with a spacious kiddy area that offers breakfast options in the morning. The room was very spacious with a large bathroom and modern shower. My bed was comfortable which allowed for relaxing evening.

I am a returning guest who was very disappointed at the lack of service during my last stay. Housekeeping has been reduced to every other day, which meant we didn’t get our room service unless we requested it. There were two plastic, and two paper cups in the room for three people. I know we could have asked for more, but if there is no daily housekeeping, the rooms should be better stocked. Especially at $440/ night plus taxes and parking. We asked for coffee for the second morning. The front desk had 1 packet left. Unfortunately I am booked for another stay in October. I’d gladly cancel, but there is no availability in the area.

My family and friends spent numerous nights at the hotel for my son and daughter in laws wedding and used several rooms. They overcharged us. Their billing and reservations were complicated so I called in advance to make sure I reserved the correct number of rooms. We were charged for an additional room because the hotel made a mistake. I spent hours explaining that we did not request or use a room that they charged us for. They tried to put the burden on me. They were unprofessional in handling the dispute. In addition, when we were there, the front desk was chaotic, they did not provide maid service on Sunday (and did not notify the guests ahead of time) and they double charged a family member but fixed it after she called to complain. I wonder how many others they overcharge. Also, there were two people including me that left a phone charger in our rooms and they both disappeared. I am very disappointed with this branch of the hotel.

Clean and comfortable room but needs update (shows little wear) Lovely lobby and sitting area. Professional staff and an excellent location to explore the Brookline neighborhood. It’s near great cafes and restaurants! We had a great stay!

Recently we had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Courtyard Mariott in Brookline. We spent two nights there, as we had medical appointments at a nearby hospital. We would not use the word pleasant to describe our stay there. The room was fine, but the window looked on to a major construction site. There was noise from morning to evening, trucks backing up, things thrown in big trash containers etc. All sorts of noise that you don't expect in a nice hotel such as the Marriot. And if this was the only thing, I probably wouldn't complain too much. But it wasn't. There was such lack of attention to detail, that I was shocked at the price we paid to be guests in this dirty dump! The hallways were clean, but our room needed more attention than it was given before we arrived. There were rings on the side tables, left from glasses that had been placed there. The refrigerator leaked onto the floor in front of it. And the bed was pure torture for us. Hard mattress and hard pillows. Very uncomfortable. Besides, a good dusting would have been necessary to the room. The bathroom was equally dissatisfying. Not only was the shower door filthy, but we had to ask for hand soap which was not provided. Also, a light was burned out on the mirror. When we returned from our appointment, we came back to a room which was in the same condition we left it in the morning. Bed was not made, trash was not removed, and towels were not replenished! I have never stayed at the Courtyard Mariott before but will NEVER stay there again! It is totally overpriced for what they promise. We were charged for parking, which is also something that I don't understand. Must be because it's in the city. All in all - an experience that I would not want to repeat! And to pay for it as well, is laughable! My back still hurts from sleeping on that BOARD they call a mattress! Sincerely, Travelers from Maine

Courteous team, clean property and room, great location. I was here supporting a boston marathon runner and enjoyed everything about the stay! Coffee, breakfast bar/snack bar offers great service. Housekeeping was fabulous. Front desk folks were super friendly.
