daily catch is somewhere you have to try while in Boston! we came to the restaurant around 8 and I believe they close at 9. we were seated at 8:30 which made us nervous since the restaurant was closing soon, but they were very kind and didn't rush us or anything. we ordered their calamari, squid ink pasta, scallop and shrimp pasta (white sauce), and mussel pasta (red sauce). the food came out quickly and everything tasted delicious. I think my favorite pasta was their squid ink pasta and I will say it's a must try when dining. the service was amazing and the ambiance of this restaurant is very family friendly. it's just like having a dinner party at your own place.

The food is overrated, but more importantly, I ordered take out from here and the manager I paid would not give me my three dollars change, saying he didn’t have it. When my girlfriend who is not American came here two years ago, they took advantage of her by telling her she is required to pay an 18% tip for take out.

Told me to wait outside no table please leave. I know you’re popular so be rude to your guest why not. Amazing.

Very small Brookline location. Maybe eight tables? The photos I see must be the Atlantic Ave location. This one would be characterized as more of a dive. Which is OK if that's what you're expecting.

Fresh fish but very pricey. Definitely a once in a while place to eat at. They do include all utensils.

Food was very good. The Cesar salad was excellent. The Black Ink Pasta Puttanesca with scallops was flavorful, although a spin on the recipe that was a bit more like a Primavera. I found myself missing the olives and capers. Service was very competent.

I have gone to the North End Daily Catch for years. Just started coming to the Brookline location. I think the NE restaurant has slightly better food. But the parking is way easier in Brookline and they accept credit cards. Downtown does not. Fairly expensive and I think the portions have shrunk in size compared to years ago.

Waiter told us to wait outside in the winter while the restaurant had plenty of open tables and space available. Was not polite about it either, and offered 0 explanation on wait time or reasoning.

The vongole nepolitiano was amazing. Price is reasonable. Seafood was fresh.

There are currently two empty tables (4 seats) and 4 people waiting, but they’re not allowing us to sit there because “that table is for large parties”. Keeping people waiting in the cold is

Excellent restaurant, everything is excellent. Tried a great seared tuna special, shared fried calamari. Mussels marinara are terrific. Hard to go wrong. If there was something to complain about, it's that many of the dishes are overpriced, for example $29 for a basic tuna steak.

I rarely go to a restaurant twice, much less 4 times but I just cant get enough of Daily Catch! I am fighting every instinct to gatekeep this gem, but they deserve success so here I am. This location is really small and very much a hole-in-the-wall. There's no reservations and you have to wait in person. That being said it's WORTH it. Everything here is good, but I am absolutely in love with the aglio olio squid ink pasta. Gotta slather it in their homemade vinegar too. I will definitely be back and will maybe even try their other locations!

The waiter is extremely racist and disrespectful. Making customers wait “outside” explicitly when there are empty seats. The empty tables, according to him, are not open to colored people, but totally available to customers lighter skin-color (white people). He selectively chooses to seat customers and if anyone questions his actions to “pretend to be busy” or not letting people in, he replies very ignorantly that people must follow his rules at his “place”. Would not recommend anyone here to be treated with such a ridiculous service. 10/3 evening shift waitress.

To be honest, the food wasn't good enough to be worth waiting for so many people outside. I grew up on the beach and I can tell when the seafood here is fresh when I ordered the clam spaghetti , they cooked so over that I can't tell if it's fresh and the waiter with the pigtails has a bad attitude and I can't even order because he requires my friend to have cash to let us order which is very rude questioning
