Went here on Sourdough Wednesday. The bread was fresh and you could tell made with quality ingredients. Surprised but happy about the three dollar price tag. I highly recommend this spot. So many other breads to choose from. The young lady who runs the store I believe Jada was very knowledgeable and patient with me being I had a lot of questions lol. Would definitely recommend this place wish I was able to leave the young lady a tip on my card well deserved especially after I got home and tried the bread. She didn’t disappoint explaining the quality! Will be back!
No more donuts. Still great bread.
The sourdough is excellent, keeps all week, and is freshest and cheapest on Wednesdays.
A lot of different breads, the chocolate bread is superb as well as the tomato basil. Staff is great and very helpful, Jada had no issues answering my questions especially with me having allergies. I was recommended to try the cinnamon pear spread and it’s wonderful! I definitely plan on coming back to try other spreads and to hopefully catch their Wednesday sale.
Approximately 99% of Americans do not have nut allergies. I completely recognize your right to become a nut free facility, even if it means ruining some of your great recipes; and I hope you completely recognize your customer's right to be disappointed in you.
Also, you should try to get a better handle on inventory control.
Chocolate bread was superb
I stopped in on Wednesday to pick up a loaf of the discounted, three-dollar sourdough. The young woman behind the counter, whose eyes never met mine, moved with speed--with haste, actually, as if being in my presence or having to wait on a me was the quintessence of distaste for her. As I was entering my PIN, she fired questions at me, which I answered distractedly. I realized the purpose of these questions was for her to establish the fact--solidly, as if on cross-examination--that I would need no further interaction with her. Yes: As I looked up, PIN having been entered, the woman had already crisply spun on her heel, away from me, and was now speeding away, towards some dark, rattling grotto in the back of the store. (I was astonished at her speed and silence. She must have been truly motivated to escape.) Rarely in my 52 years have I been made to feel so defective by a shopping attendant. Such a burden I was, on this young woman, that I had prevented her from curing cancer or writing a symphony during my three-minute visit to the store. When Pigs Fly is a good-quality bakery from Maine, not owned by any conglomerate. Maybe the woman in the store was someone's daughter, and so felt entitled to treat me as if I were nothing more than a bot, a troll, some not-alive thing to be cleansed, dispensed with, and moved far away from.
Bread was mediocre...barely risen sourdough and the olive bread had a whole pit in it. Lucky I saw it before taking a bite. Expensive and really not worth it

Love their breads and jams! Very friendly staff and such a cozy store! Always enjoy coming back each week. (:
Love their $3 Sourdough Wednesdays and recently got a TooGoodToGo order from them. Got two loaves for $4.99. One was New York Rye, the other was just a classic wheat loaf (not sure of the name exactly). But all their breads have tasted amazing so far. Not to mention their delicious saturday-only donuts.
