Very, very delicious. Authentic Indian cuisine. This restaurant is patronized mostly by Indian customers which speaks to the food's authenticity. The Onion Kulcha and Garlic Naan are so fresh and taste absolutely fantastic. All the vegetarian dishes we ate were exceedingly good. You can't go wrong here.

Vegetarian options: Onion Kulcha, Aloo Gobi, Channa Masala, Dal Fry, Mixed Vegetable Curry, Masala Dosa, Pakora

Total rip off. This place is insanely expensive with a plate of Biryani costing close to $25. On top of that they nickel and dime you on the take out boxes. Our waiter refused to give us the more sturdy boxes they had and was giving us the cheaper ones. The quality of good has also deteriorated over the past year. They had maintained consistency in Burlington after they moved moving from JMP in Allston. However, the food especially the Biryani has gone down the drain over the past year. Additionally, I would suggest that the folks running the place take some hospitality classes on how to talk to and check in with customers especially when there is only one customer in your restaurant! Not.going back here, plenty of other options in Burlington, Woburn etc.

The food and serving was very good I likes it. The sauces that top most of the dishes are exquisite and show very fine dining. 10/10.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Al Maidah Restaurant during dinner with my family today. The evening was marred by numerous issues that reflect poorly on the establishment's standards and service.

First and foremost, we discovered a baby spider in our crockery, which we promptly reported, and the staff changed it. However, this incident set a dismal tone for the rest of our meal.

The accuracy of the order taker was appalling. Despite specifically ordering different items, we received incorrect dishes. I had explicitly requested only breast pieces in my kadai, with no drumsticks. Yet, I was served the wrong order. Upon notifying the staff, they took back the incorrect kadai, leaving me with hot naans but nothing to eat with them. I had to wait for an excruciating half an hour without any water or tissues on our table, and there were no waiters in sight.

When the correct kadai finally arrived, it appeared to be a haphazard leftover concoction, with thick gravy and wings instead of the requested breast pieces, absolutely pathetic. The taste was abysmal, making it a complete waste of money. The timing of the service was chaotic, and my dining experience was utterly ruined.

To make matters worse, when I attempted to lodge a complaint, both the staff and the owner were incredibly discourteous and rude. The owner rudely spoke to me on video call and didnt even bother to listen my complaint then behaved as if he was doing me a favour, rather than addressing my concerns. I paid the full bill, which I have as proof, but I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars.

Adding to the disaster, my wife, who has allergies to chillies and gluten, was served dahi phulki (Gluten), which contradicted her dietary requirements. This negligence could have had serious health implications.

Overall, it was a nightmarish experience. I strongly advise against visiting Al Maidah Restaurant if you value your time, money, and dining experience. The service, order accuracy, timing, and overall attitude of the staff and owner were horrendous. Avoid this place at all costs.

Al Maidah is the best place for authentic Indian cuisine. Their appetizers are out of this world specifically chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, chicken lollipop. Their main menu was loaded with meat and curry all fused correctly with correct seasonings. The naan was soft fluffy, and would not go hard even after time. Lastly, their Lassi and Dessert specifically Gulab Jamun are a savory sweet treat.

I recently went for dining in group of seven. The food tasted good, but it was overpriced and the portion sizes were too small.
