Excellent food and service. Worth the price in my opinion. Noise level an issue, had to practically shout at the other folks at our intimate table for 4. Also the restaurant struggled with temperature control....granted it was super cold out but all of us at the table were cold inside the restaurant. Overall, I'd definitely go back as the food was outstanding and I've already decided what I'd order next!
Food was 10/10. Service was not great. Lighting was too bright. But food was so good that the things can be overlooked.
The restaurant was freezing and they said the hotel controlled the heat so they couldn't turn it up. Kinda weird a building department would pass that kind of inspection for occupancy permits. It made the nice quiet dinner miserable.
I've found that the dishes can be inconsistent from visit to visit. This time, my meal was delicious and the service was excellent. Based on this visit, I will come more often.
Service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. Food was exceptional. Definitely will return.
Absolutely do not expect to use the gift certificates from their Rewards program or earned out via our purchase of other gifts certificates. The process is opaque tedious and fraught with system blocks to usage. Painful for customer and equally painful for the staff. Redeeming not worth it, maybe that's the point?
We are repeat customers - need I say more? Even our kids ask to come eat at Black & Blue now. This was the second time Kostas took care of us, and we had a great time. Thank you!
We had a very flamboyant server who came to the table like gangbusters and then disappeared never checking in when the food was delivered. we had to flag an assistant down to order another drink and wine for the table. The filet mignon was dry and overcooked and the Brussels sprouts were tough and undercooked. When the server reappeared at the conclusion of the service when our table was being cleared then asking how was the meal. When I honestly answered that the steak was overcooked and dry she looked shocked. Way too late for service recovery or the chance to address our issues sooner. I believe she took my steak off the bill and comped a dessert but the others at the table had the same opinion of their steaks as well. Disappointing and we won't return.
It was a good experience, salad was good and steak with peppercorn sauce was good, they charged extra for the sauce, but this is a steak house? Service was pretty good. Overall good. I also tried the Bancroft and thought the Bancroft was better.
The worst foods around Burlington and beyond. The chef/owner don't seem care about the quality of foods. Only care about the profits. Tasteless and dry breads, mediocre & small appetizers, salads, cheaply made yet expensive seafoods. Go to Eddy B's, Capital grill, Tuscany, Legal, Burtons, and Feng Shui or anywhere else but this. So done!

Everything was absolutely AMAZING! The food of great quality and service unparalleled! I will most definitely be returning!
Service was great but food was sub par typical chain, not worth the extremely high price. I won't return.
The food was okay, and the prices matched other steak houses in the area. We were planning on celebrating my husband's retirement with a quiet dinner. The place was packed, so we ended up right next to the kitchen door. It was distracting and noisy. Staff were outstanding and very attentive.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience again. We enjoyed every element; food, drinks, atmosphere and especially service. Sam was awesome! We'll be back.
My husband and I were on vacation in New England. On our last day, stayed at the connecting hotel to the black & blue Steak and Crab - Burlington. It was definitely a failure. We arrived and seated immediately. Water service was prompt, and then nothing went well from there. The server eventually made it over and was harried, and did apologize for the long wait. Drinks were ordered and received promptly by a different server. We then waited again about 25 minutes with one drink with no one stopping by to check in. The server came by after 25 minutes to take our order. Two salads, lobster bucatini and a steak were ordered as well as two glasses of wine with a request for more water. The salads came out after about 15 minutes, no issue there. The wine did not arrive, and we had run out of water and asked for more water and a pepper mill. None of that was delivered. My husband got up and found the pepper mill and took our two water glasses to the bar to be refilled and inquired about the wine. We finished out salads with no wine and the water he brought back with him. We watched other tables served near us frequently. 30 minutes went by and the main dishes were delivered. We asked again about the wine ordered. My pasta dish was mildly warm. The steak was cooked well, but had been cooked and had been sitting for too long to consider it the proper temperature. We waited to see if the steak could be corrected and the pasta rewarmed, but again, no one showed up, so we ate. The wine was delivered as my husband finished his steak. Next, our initial server brought us the bill. No offers for water, more wine, etc... She was surprised when hearing our disappointment and requested we wait for the manager. The manager was prompt In explaining that my husband waited the table and food was cold. Her response was a whiny "awwww, awww, awww". No apology or ownership. Just a condescending look.
