As a Texan, I was incredibly disappointed with the food. From the salsa to the entrées all the food was extremely bland or seasoned with curious ingredients. Definitely not authentic by any stretch of the imagination. That said, we're in Massachusetts, not Texas...

My other issue was that the music was so loud, we couldn't talk or understand the server half the time.

All that said, notice I leave five stars for the service. I'd give 6 if I could. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. These are qualities lacking for many places these days. Good service should be praised when warranted, especially in the restaurant business.

Sorry guys. Hope it was just a bad night for the food.

Very tasty Mexican dishes- a bit spicy for my New England taste buds! Service was slow on a Saturday night… maybe that’s normal? I’d come back!

The best part of this experience was my margarita, great basic drink, server was friendly and quick. If I could give zero stars for food I would...what happened to this place? Rice has a starchy bland flavor you could taste the starch, very sad considering it used to be the best rice around. The chips were cold & bland no salt and they took the salt off the tables, WEIRD!! The side of tortillas were cold and stiff as if under a heat lamp, bean and rice empanadas had very little filling it was all crust. Side of black beans used to be hot with Mexican cheese on top they came out cold and just an oversized spoonful . Guys DO BETTER look at the reviews you should be embarrassed. This isn't food inflammation this is a restaurant who is price gauging customers and serving poor quality food that is right up there with taco bell, I felt like I was eating slop. I could go to Trader Joe's and buy frozen Mexican and put together a more authentic fresh meal. This old time family restaurant is no longer.

I'd been here before, but the food was even better than I remembered! I got the blackened fish tacos, and I will definitely be coming back there. Great prices, too!

The portion size of my blackened chicken was very small, hardly 3 spoon full of rice

10/10 always a go to when in the area! Their ranch is something out of this world i love to dip my chips with. Strawberry margarita is a must.

Nice, clean restaurant. I ordered a beef burro with rice beans, and got a chicken burro with jambalaya. When I let the waitress know she got my correct order right away. The service was very good, I just thought the enchilada sauce was salty, and the chips were kind of shrapnel with huge pockets of salt.

One of my favorite places to eat- cheap, decent portions, and tasty.

Can't get enough of the chimi Verde sauce that comes with their chicken tacos.

Ordered the quesadillas in beef and chicken. For a more simple dish I was expecting more. The beef was chewy and the chicken lacked flavor. There might be a dish here that is worth coming for but this was not it. However our waiter was extremely nice and helpful.

For the most part I'm pretty impressed. The food and drinks were both good and reasonably priced. The strawberry margarita alone makes this place worth the revisit.

However, I am going to deduct a star. The vibe of this place SCREAMS skillet cookie (or brownie) with ice cream. So imagine my shock when I was informed that they don't even have a dessert menu. That's crazy...

Emerson C. was wonderful. Food was good as always but it was Emerson’s excellent service that made us enjoy our dinner there tonight and leave with a smile. Thank you! We’ve been coming here for more than 13 years and look forward to the next 13 😊
