Our family came here a couple of times and the food was very good. Huge portions and very flavorful. Today we ordered take-out. It was terrible. My chicken burrito was made in some sort of weird BBQ sauce that dominated the dish, it was mostly tortilla with very little chicken inside, the rice was not as good as it used to be, and the beans were not as good as they used to be. My wife had chicken enchiladas, same problems. The kids had quesadillas and said they were unusually oily but otherwise were at least good. I don't know if they use a different source for their takeout food or if they just changed their food sources and recipes, but there are other Mexican restaurants near me that are more consistent, so unless I hear something to convince me otherwise, I'm out.

I got the fish and chips. The fish was done pretty well. The batter did not have much flavor. The dipping sauce was good. It had a little flavor and a bit of a bite to it. The fries are tiny and we're overdone. They had no flavor. The service was a little slow. The staff was friendly. The place is old and shows some wear, but clean.

Saturday night, party of 8, 'chain' restaurant - I didn't expect much... Boy, was I wrong! We had a super time. We were seated quickly, in a nice booth, and promptly served 3 bowls of chips and salsa! The wait staff are professionally attired, and our waitress, Caroline V. was both friendly and professional. I highly recommend the blackened haddock, which reminded me of blackened redfish I used to get down south in the '80's Oh, and I almost forgot, the prices were very reasonable. A very pleasant surprise! Highly recommended. We will return.
