I got the fish and chips. The fish was done pretty well. The batter did not have much flavor. The dipping sauce was good. It had a little flavor and a bit of a bite to it. The fries are tiny and we're overdone. They had no flavor. The service was a little slow. The staff was friendly. The place is old and shows some wear, but clean.
Saturday night, party of 8, 'chain' restaurant - I didn't expect much... Boy, was I wrong! We had a super time. We were seated quickly, in a nice booth, and promptly served 3 bowls of chips and salsa! The wait staff are professionally attired, and our waitress, Caroline V. was both friendly and professional. I'm in town from Boise Idaho to see my grandparents. My grandpa wanted to take me here for lunch. I got the shrimp tacos that came with fries and he got a beef burrito that came with jambalaya. Everything looked great amd tasted great. Our waiter was super nice and everything came out pretty fast! Definitely a great spot!
