We had a very nice meal at Eddie V's. There were a couple of hiccups, but the management and staff corrected them. For example, the wine we ordered wasn't available, but the manager gave us a more expensive bottle at the same price as the one we ordered.

We eat at Eddie's often and enjoy the food and service. This last time we enjoyed the food again but service was not up to par and it was terribly loud. Our server was either new or unfamiliar with our drink order so she asked another server to ask us again. My glass of ginger ale was skipped and so weren't my husband and his friend's after dinner drinks. 90% of the time we go and there's never a problem. This time was different. It was my husband and his best friend's birthdays.

Had a wonderful evening celebrating my husbands 75th birthday with friends. Food was delicious and our waiter James went above and beyond to make our evening relaxing and fun
The service ruined our evening. We sat at the bar Friday night and had a cocktail. It was downhill from there. Had to ask for another drink, had to ask to order, had to ask for bread 3x., had to ask about our entrees. We had Caesar salad and lobster bisque. Both were so-so. We ordered a filet and NY strip. Since they forgot to send it, my steak came out very hot. Obviously no time to repose, as when I cut in it was like the elevator scene from the Shining.... blood everywhere. It wasn't busy and it took 2+ hours. No dessert.

Eddie V's is a very special place. We celebrate all our "happy" occasions there. The food is wonderful, the service is outstanding and the atmosphere sophisticated but comfortable and not so loud as other restaurant where you can't here the person next to you. It's always an elegant evening with delicious dining - for special occasion or just a great dinner out.
