Roman we went to your Newton restaurant and have been going there since you opened you know me personally. We were sitting in the back dining area for over a half hour by our selves and no wait staff after we got bread and water. I asked to speak to Jen and lodged my complaint and was shocked at her response. Her answer to my complaint was we have a lot of take out orders. When we had our restaurant in Watertown the people that are regulars always got great service. If there was a crowd I could understand but there were 5 tables with people 4 in the front and us and when we got our meal my wife ate less than half and my pasta was so Al dente that shows that your cooks were just rushing everything. I was never so disappointed in you Restaurant. Your manager could have cared less about the poor service and not in control I was so pissed off I will find it hard to return to your Newton restaurant again if you don’t improve the service in that store I don’t see you staying open very much longer. We always asked for Diane and her service has always been impeccable always left her a 50% tip because of her fantastic service. I didn’t want to even leave a tip for the waiter but I know how good wait staff work and I know how hard they are to get as well. You need someone that knows how to manage and Jen was clearly not in control.

First time trying their food, went with my food group to try out their menu and was not disappointed! Recently came back from Italy and had told my friends I missed the food, one said this place might help and it did not disappoint! I found the gnocchi to be amazing, even when I didn't finish it completely, it was still amazing the next day which is very unusual in my experience, but a happy surprise! The sauce they used was unreal, the chicken was on par, and honestly had a really good time. Will be going back again, definitely want to taste test a few other items next time around.

Very knowledgeable with the menu, described the items in a very detailed manner, and made great recommendations that will be bringing me back in the next month with my family to try. Was attentive and delivered multiple points of service. Seafood Fra Diavolo 9/10. Goat cheese and walnut salad 10/10. Chicken parm 8/10. Italian wedding soup 6/10. Espresso 10/10. Atmosphere 10/10. Overall experience would be a 7/10. A few key 🗝️ details that unfortunately rubbed me the wrong way during the first 20 minutes before being seated that I won't publicly post that has nothing to do with the food or Alejandro is what kept me from being 10/10.

The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is very nice. However, I would encourage transparency of pricing. When our server (we sat at the bar) told us we could have our choice of pastas with our entrees, she did not disclose there would be a $4 up charge *per plate.* when she apologized, she said, “I know the menu doesn’t say that anywhere,” well neither did she, and she was the person who offered the selection of pastas. She did not offer to take it off, nor seek her manager’s approval; merely asked, “is that okay?” It was what it was - we had eaten our food, already, so we were certainly going to pay for it. This was after she put in the wrong order for our salad, as well, and charged us for that, too. Overall, I still like this restaurant but would need to be aware of making extra clear that the price on the menu will be the price we are charged.
We ENJOYED an increadible experience to celebrate a special occassion. The staff (Nick, especially) were attentive, kind, knowledgable and happy. The restaurant was busy but the all the staff were working together, helping out each other and the guests. The atmosphere was beautiful, clean and welcoming. We felt comfortable to take our time and enjoy our experience. Our food was exceptional in taste, presentation and variety. There were an abudance of vegetarian options which were greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend this establishment for any one who seeks a great night out.

It’s a nice Italian restaurant. We went without a reservation (though it was a weekday), and they had a table for us. The staff were very friendly. Surprisingly, the main menu didn’t have any pizzas, which is unusual for an Italian restaurant. When I asked, the waitress brought me a separate pizza menu (see the photo). The small pizza was actually more than enough for me, and it was really delicious 😋. However, the pasta was quite bland. One interesting point: they served the food very quickly — their speed and efficiency were impressive.

I have been dining at this restaurant since it first opened and have proudly referred my family, children, and friends to support the new business. The restaurant is beautiful, and the food has always been excellent. However, during a recent attempt to reserve a table for six, I was surprised to be asked for a credit card with the condition that if I did not show up or cancel within 24 hours, my card would be charged for six guests. This policy was never mentioned before, and as a professional who values and respects local businesses, I would never take actions that might harm them. Unfortunately, when I called, Karen, who answered the phone, did not come across as very friendly and gave the impression that my reservation was not important.
This experience was disappointing, especially after months of supporting and promoting the restaurant. It left me feeling undervalued as a loyal customer. I truly hope the business continues to thrive and that management ensures policies are communicated respectfully and staff receive the proper training. It would be unfortunate for such a wonderful establishment to lose the support of families like mine due to these kinds of experiences.
