Had the meatball ricotta. New Haven style pizza, cooked in a coal fired oven. Great pizza and friendly service!
Awesome pizza. I had visited their store in Connecticut. Visited this location recently. Very nice food. Staff was very friendly. The chef was very kind and considerate and took care of us very well. Definitely going back and definitely recommend if you are looking for a great pizza.
😎👍👍👍
I visit from Las Vegas love there 🍕 pizza
Very delicious dine in or carry out. You can’t go wrong with any pizza but the special add cherry peppers was incredibly perfect 👌🏻
I just picked up my pizza order from this place—it was my first time ordering from this restaurant. Unfortunately, I didn’t open the boxes while I was still there, which was my mistake. When I got home, I was shocked to see how badly burnt the pizza was. I've never seen anything like it, and yet they still sold it to me.
Before posting this review, I called the restaurant to report the issue. However, the person who answered was rude and didn’t seem to care about my concern. She kept asking what my name is. Burnt pizzas should never be sold to customers.
This is easily better than most other pizza around. Is it better than the original location on Wooster Street in New Haven? Certainly not, and while it's a good pie for Boston, the Arsenal location in Watertown tastes much more like the original for some reason. More char? Possibly. Still worth a visit.

Took 40 minutes to get our pizza even though it was not busy at all. When one of our pizza’s came it was super burnt.

The pizza was great. The undercarriage was nice and crispy but not burnt. It was also a bit greasy which was a bit of a surprise to me. Overall, it was some of the best pizza I’ve had although Joanies is better. The cost for one large pizza also seemed a bit much at $32

This place is a 10/10! Management went above and beyond making sure we as visitors knew about their pizza and their classic tomato pie! Pies had all fresh ingredients and tasted like everything was made by hand. Inside you'll find the history of Pepe's family restaurant that shows you how much pride they put into their pies. Recommend and plan to come again next time we are in town! Thank you so much!
