I’ve been getting chicken vindaloo at this mall spot for literally 30 years. It had different levels of spiciness on different days, but it was always delicious. I’ve gone 3 times in the last month, and it has been absolutely awful. Not flavorful, not enough spice, not worth the money at all.
I’ll try again in 6 months, but until then I’ll be getting my vindaloo elsewhere - SO disappointing, this was such an amazing place for so long.

It's our go to spot specially with kids. You can get authentic tea, not chai latte, with samosas or chole bhature, or can have full meal in the food court while kids can play well in the play area. Food is great and reasonably priced for being in a mall.

Is mallcore back? After wandering the Burlington Mall in a haze of overstimulation and deal-hunting, we found ourselves at Gourmet India—a true hidden gem that offered exactly the refresh we needed.
First, let’s talk about the food court setup. Tucked just out of sight from the bustle of the stores, it feels like a quiet reprieve, with a massive skylight above that brings in natural light and a touch of calmness. The stalls are neatly lined up, which makes browsing easy and ideal for dividing and conquering with friends.
Now, onto Gourmet India itself. There’s something charming about the humble presentation here: dishes served in paper and Styrofoam on those red plastic trays, nostalgic of classic mall food but with a twist. We went for the 3-item platter with rice, garlic naan (grilled to order!), a mango lassi, and two pieces of gulab jamun—all for around $25, which felt like an absolute steal.
The flavors didn’t disappoint. Every bite felt homemade and genuinely crafted. The chicken tikka masala was the star of the show—tender, fragrant, and utterly satisfying.
Gourmet India didn’t just serve us a meal; it gave us the perfect mid-shopping recharge, reminding us of the joys of a low-key mall food court, just with a little extra warmth and flavor.

We had Chana Bhatura and Dosa. Both were delicious (quality and quantity).

Great food for the price. Ate here twice and was very impressed by the food, especially for the price. Had chana masala and chicken vindaloo. It's so much better than any other food court meal I've had.
The chicken was cooked perfectly and portion sizes were awesome. This was my favorite restaurant on my work trip to Boston and I would come back any time.

the chicken tikka masala is just pieces of chicken soaked in trader joes tomato soup, not exactly chicken tikka masala. The pani puri is your average pani puri.
Gourmet India provided catering for my wedding. Their service was timely and professional. Mr. Sood provided helpful insights on the types of dishes that would suit the event schedule and our guests' needs, as well as the set-up. It was also helpful that Gourmet India already has a working relationship established with the venue, Boston Marriott Burlington, which eased communications and collaboration in the planning and execution stages. All the guests raved about the catering!

The food is good and not loaded with cream/fat (it’s kind of part way between Indian home food and Indian restaurant food). I’ve always had good experiences on service.

Worst customer service ever, today march 8 2024, around 3Pm, this is for the owner, I’ve also mentioned this to the lady owner, that there is a guys working in the front desk, very rude guy very rude : first of all he didn’t listen to our order and made a mistake and when we asked him about that, he was abusing us in Hindi, saying that chu****ya mat banao, is this the way to talk to a customer , for like 14$ worth of food you showed how you were raised, I’m a regular customer here and in Tashan tooo, so please the way you talked to me please don’t talk to other customer like this. You guys just lost a long term customer, I don’t know where you guys find them , he’s representing our country badly.
Very very rude

Much better than you’d expect from a mall food court. Paid about 12.50 for 2 curries, rice, and naan, so a great value compared to other Indian restaurants. Food tasted great, and service was fast.
Surprisingly good food. I got the combo with Aloo Mutter and Chicken Curry. The Aloo Mutter was actually solid. Chicken curry was good (not the best just good). The cashier was courteous as well.Overall a good place for Indian food.
Vegetarian options: They have quite a few vegetarian options.
Dietary restrictions: Aloo Mutter was dairy free I think. No allergen info. You need to ask them.
Parking: Plenty of spots but they fill very quickly.
Kid-friendliness: It’s in a mall so yes, it is kid-friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes; it is wheelchair accessible.

My go to spot in the mall for chole bhatura… food can be a hit or a miss … but overall I think their chole bhatura are fairly consistent.
I generally do not dare to order anything besides my usual. Haven’t had good memories when I strayed away from the regular path.
Service could be more friendly, but I don’t expect it from any joints in the mall.
