We came at 2:40 on a Sunday and the front lady said they cant take anymore while the timing is open till 3. They should change saying that they close at 2:30 or 2:45 whatever.

I suspect they use analogue paneer. I use a continuous glucose monitor (not diabetic or prediabetic and not on insulin) and ordered paneer item only with no sweets. My glucose on the monitor stayed high above normal for hours. I have been monitoring my glucose and never had this kind of response for past 2 months. I only ate half of the paneer that was served and the glucose response only points to analogue paneer. Bring your iodine and test it yourself!

I have ate at Mehfil multiple times and food has always been great! Chef Murali is great at catering orders as well. He gave nice suggestions which made a big difference in the experience we could offer to our guests. Best part is that this is a pure vegetarian restaurant and they serve food with authentic Indian taste!

Friday night live music is sometimes a bit much being too loud and not up to the mark singers. Ruins the experience and leaves a suboptimal ambiance of an erstwhile comfort food joint.

While the food is decent and few dishes are delicious, the service is very disappointing. We have been here on weekends and the staff is untrained and quite frankly uninterested in their job, you have to ask twice for the water to be served. But one thing they would be interested in is the tip. So it's a place where you can prefer takeouts but don't bring your guest for dine in as the experience would leave you embarrassed. I hope the owner spends some time in educating the staff.

Since they changed management this place has gone from ok to meh to bad to worse. Under Ritu food used to be delicious. My boyfriend and I were regulars. The flavor has gone down as well as the portions. We won't mind the portions but you can't serve Indian food that lacks spices and salt. We decided to give Mehfil a last try last weekend. The rice was old, the paneer kadhai had no spices or salt. If I ask to add spice they add a bunch of chilies. Indian spice is much more than heat. It is disappointing that the quality has gone down so much.

I ordered Aloo Paratha, Coke and Dahi Vada. I am utterly disappointed with the quality of food. They are charging $9 for Aloo paratha and it was just like a ball of raw dough, undercooked, and no sign of aloo. It was more like they just brushed some aloo in the dough and rolled it. Also charging $4.5 for a coke can which you get for $1 outside is outrageous. The restaurant is managed under Apna Bazaar now and it is a shame if they are caring all about money but no quality. I got to know today my friends have had the same issue with quality of food. Never visiting again.

Food is really good with very good quantity, service is bad employees don’t listen to your order and bring it very late! Skip tipping as owner does not pass this to employee
