First time there , ordered the half chicken meal with a margarita and a vanilla bean crème de brue le .
We celebrated a very special occasion at Smith & Wollensky—both my birthday and my daughter’s birthday. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the customer service was truly outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. The highlight? A delicious slice of cake that was generously sized and absolutely delightful. It was the perfect sweet ending to a memorable celebration. Highly recommend for any special occasion or just a top-notch dining experience!
Our dinner was excellent. The food, service, and having musicians play for us while dining was wonderful.
I have been to many steak restaurants, but I hadn't been to Smith and Wollensky since the location that used to be in the castle in Boston, many years ago. This was my first time at the Burlington location. Our server's name was Christian. Christian was very welcoming and friendly, but also very professional. He was well versed on the menu and made many helpful suggestions- so many that we had clearly ordered more food than we needed, but it was a fun night out and worth treating ourselves. Love the angry shrimp. And, who doesn't like leftovers when the food is so good, right? The one thing we really liked about our server Christian was his enthusiasm and passion because he seemed proud to share what he himself loved about many of the menu items, including the swinging Tomahawk steak. The food was all seasoned and cooked to perfection and even the team that supported the server was great. We will be back again soon because we need to try some of the other menu items that were recommended. Thank you Christian for the great service and also thanks to your kitchen staff for the delicious food we had during our visit.
Avoid this place we went for Mothers day dinner. Service was terrible, had to ask for bread took 10 minutes. Next Wife, daughter, and I all ordered the 10oz filet. They came fairly quick but problem was we didn’t have steak knives yet. Nothing to cut the steak but a butter knife we waited a few minutes with steaks in front of us and server was nowhere to be seen so I went to bar. Bartender was very apologetic I then saw bartender hand the knives to our server on a platter. 2-3 minutes later the server came over and said sorry there was a “shortage” on knives when I had just witnessed him a few minutes earlier handed them lied directly to my face. At this point the steaks were sitting in front of us for 7-8 minutes. Therefore became overcooked. Server then took forever to come back when I ordered another glass of wine for my wife. The service was so bad that I asked for the bill he then took another 5-6 minutes noticed me looking for him and then went to computer to print our bill. I just handed him my card at that point. The bill was $330 I wouldn’t pay $30 for that meal/service given the chance again. We frequent steakhouses such as Ruth Chris in Waltham and capital grille in Burlington. This restaurant isn’t in the same strata sphere as those places. I’d rather go to a pub for 1/3 the price. Service and food would have been better. Avoid this place completely or save your money.
The food was very tastey and staff was very attentive. Our server Javi was super attentive and made our experience here wonderful.

This is our go to special occasion restaurant, it is upscale and beautiful. The service is top notch and the food is amazing. We enjoy the atmosphere and dining here. The hanging ribeye and potatoes is a show stopper!
Definitely recommend this restaurant.

My son loved his steak. The clam chowder was excellent. Promise of fresh rolls after waiting was a disappointment. Putting herbs and melted butter on stale, dry rolls doesn't freshen them. At least they could have warmed them up. We were the only ones there. Maybe I wasn't spending enough money. My first time here. Not a good impression.

First time eating here and will never go back What an awful experience I’ve received in this place to getting seated in front of the door where everyone stands and goes out to to terrible service and to horrible food for 400$ the management is a joke. It’s way worse than what I’ve said but don’t wanna to write paragraphs here. Do not eat here the food is terrible and not worth the price tag of overpriced food rather eat at Texas road house than here. Joke!

Spent several hundred dollars at this location (for two people), but never received my loyalty points for the visit. Sent an inquiry TWICE about the points situation thru their website. They never even bothered to respond to my inquiry. Need to take my money elsewhere with better customer service.
Have been to all 3 locations in MA and tried more or less the same items. Was quite disappointed by the Burlington location. Staff was friendly but very slow, albeit restaurant not busy. The biggest disappointment was the swinging tomahawk...it was charred (we asked for medium)...and definitely not a 44oz..more.like 30 oz..and charred.
Some of the potatoes were not cooked. Had the tomahawk at Wellesley and Boston locations and they were cooked to perfection, but not here. The asparagus seemed they were starved, not the typical one expects in a reputed steakhouse. The split pea soup was tasteless and we had to return it. The creme brulee was doughy in lack of a better word. The children's macaroni was cold. I hope this was an one off day for the location because the experience negatively impacts the Smith & Wollensky brand name.
