Food was great but the girl who greeted us made it seem like she didnt care to accommodate our party of 8 although the restaurant wasnt even close to full. She made us feel like sitting us all together was such a big deal. Then we asked her if we can sit at the part of the restaurant that wasnt being used and she said it was closed for the day yet later on she did sit people there. We're in the mall today and would have loved to go back to eat there but after how she made us feel, never again.

I have visited all Friendly Toast locations, and I have always been a fan. Today we visited with a two young kids. The the hostess was very rude to us. She was disrespectful and it felt like an inconvenience that we had kids with us.
I have never run into this at any other location, and our actual server was as GEM. The only issue was with the hostess. She is the first person you see when you walk in and it was a miserable greeting.
If you're trying to come here with young kids, I'd pick somewhere else. I won't go back to this location because of this experience. I do know this is not typical for Friendly Toast and I've never hit this in any of their other locations.
The food is great, same as the other locations.

This is the third Friendly Toast that I have been to and they are all wonderful. Fun, vibrant atmosphere, attentive service, a really good menu and really good food at a good price. What more could you want(well, I wish there was one closer, maybe someday). I had the pancakes, eggs and bacon, very tasty and a good portion. Love , and appreciate, the real maple syrup. Thank you again

The special date based food experiments are a fresh idea. I tried the bear omelette based on a TV show. Jill got a pumpkin breakfast.
It is a little noisy in the space, but that is because so many good things are happening here!

$6 for a glass of milk? 😂😂😂
Made plans with friends to meet up for brunch. Our friends don’t live close by, so we don’t get to see each that often. My husband and I arrived first, right at 9 a.m., with our son, hoping to get a table early for our larger party. There were plenty of open tables. I’ve even been to this location before with a group of 20+ and we were easily accommodated. However, this time the hostess refused to seat us until everyone was physically inside, even when our friends texted that they were pulling in. I pointed out open setups that could fit us, like a four-top beside a two-top, but she declined and seated another group there. The host/manager told me not to worry and that seating eight wouldn’t be a problem. When everyone arrived minutes later, he offered only two back-to-back booths. I asked about nearby tables, but he said they can’t push tables together on weekends. Since that didn’t work for us, we had to wait. Eventually, we were crammed into one booth. seven people plus a baby in a high chair. I spent breakfast half off the seat. The food was fine, but the experience was frustrating, especially when we saw the same man later pushing those very same tables together for another large party. Overall, it left us extremely disappointed with The Friendly Toast.
