Good food would go there again
1. I bought raisinets. They were sealed and not expired. Yet, they were hard and taste like minty mold if you've ever tasted that you'll know what I mean. 2. I got 5 readily available candies. Raisinets of course, necco wafers, and a Clark bar and 2 honees. Normally this is 5 to 8 bucks. But near $15? If I didn't have my kids with me I would have left the candy on the counter and fled. 3. There's a tip cup on the counter. For what? Placing things in a bag? 4. The Clark bar was so tacky that it pulled my tooth crown off. No I'm not kidding. Yes, it would probably have budged in a few months anyway but wth. 5. Had to take a day off and get my tooth fixed. So to sum it up. Rediculous prices, multiple bad candies, and tooth hazards and to top it off, the you can tip them.
waited for it to open and left at 10:15 today. still not open
I bought a box of expensive liqueur-filled Belgian chocolates and when I tried one, it was dry inside. No alcohol at all. I also bought my mother a box of various sugar free candies den their display case. They were so rock hard that she couldn't eat them with her bad teeth. I went back with them to complain and ask for a refund/store credit/exchange. I was turned down and the woman was obnoxious about it. She said that, "I was crazy if I thought any candy store in the world give any refunds." I wasn't offered anything to satisfy my complaint. I totally wasted $30 on candy no one can eat. Super disappointed.
Amazing election of outstanding Sugar Free candies. As a diabetic I haven't had candies for years. My sweet tooth has been satisfied
Not super impressed with this place. It always seems empty -- the one employee is usually in the back room and you have to get her attention somehow if you want to buy something. You're better off buying bag candy somewhere else.
My husband and I walked into this mall for the first time. Went to "Truffles" to buy some chocolate. There were 3 ladies working in there. Not one person greeted us. I did get a stare down without a smile. Then we ask the older lady if she could help us. She didn't respond. What??? More people came in the store, then that same lady asked who needed help after seeing us there for 10 minutes. She proceeded to assist another customer. Really? I don't know who hired any of you as all of your personalities were nothing in which they should be in customer service. Not even a hello? And, it is the holidays.
The single, elderly woman working behind the counter chatted on the phone the whole time I was there, kept hassling me to ask if I needed help, and then continued carrying her telephone conversation while ringing up my order. She also overtly ignored my questions and hustled me out of the store. The place sells sweets, but its employee (singular) seemed bitter, and disgusting.
A horrible company to work with. They refuse to separate allergens using gloves - they're more concerned about saving a few cents on gloves than saving someone with an allergen from having a reaction. They either use the same pair of gloves all day or don't use them at all. The candy is often hard or expired; the chocolate has given many people stomachaches. In terms of the products they coat in chocolate, nothing can be considered vegetarian or nut-free: they use the same PLASTIC SPOON (and/or a rewashed plastic spoon) for the turtles (contain nuts, wheat) and the bacon (also contains spices). Speaking of washing stuff, everything is stored out in the open. And they do not follow proper sanitation methods. I don't think they know what ServSafe means. Prices? Better than Godiva, for sure. But there is no consistent pricing model: if they like you, your Kinder bars can be $2.00 instead of $3.00. One assorted piece costs more than one Lindt ball upstairs. Also, don't touch the "gelato". The refrigeration machine does not work, so the product is in and out of the freezer - sometimes sitting in the smelly, 70 degree area. The "gelato" is either too frozen to scoop or completely melted. Some flavours are back and forth from the freezer for months. All this said, you're better off going to CVS across the hall.
