So disgusted.I made it very clear I was looking to order vegan- and I ordered a bean town beer that had LACTOSE in it.I read everything ALWAYS…I had a long day away from home- and already had a few drinks and missed the fact that this disgusting ingredient was in my beer and almost drank the whole thing til I realized. The point is not that it will make me sick- (which it will) the point IS; THAT I DONT PURCHASE OR CONSUME PRODUCTS THAT TORTURE AND KILLS OTHER SENTIENT BEINGS. OR SEPARATES MOTHERS FROM THEIR BABIES.

What a great find Rod and Rail was! The bar of Rod and Rail offers an eclectic mix of cocktails, local brews, and even some great non-alcoholic options. The food menu was also interesting, diverse, and bar food-themed. Check out my picture of this for reference. My party ordered the hot noodle special, the falafel smash, and the burger. All were tasty and on point. The service we received on our visit was exceptional. There was ample seating in both the bar and the restaurant area. I would come back to Road and Rail any time.

Decided to try this place on a whim and was not disappointed. Had the clam chowder, tater tots poutine and hot honey salad. Food was outstanding and enjoyed how crispy the tots were. Salad was refreshing and different flavor wise. Service was fast and friendly and restaurant was clean and new looking. Great experience overall.
