The service was terrible. We had been waiting for over an hour for our food. The server was a little boy, probably around 10 years old, who seemed to be everywhere. He was leaning on customersâ tables while they were eating.
To make matters worse, the drinks didnât have enough ice. My cousin ordered Haitian spaghetti, and it was burnt. I know Haitian spaghetti usually comes with hot dogs, but this one didnât have any. It only came with two slices of eggs.
And to top it all off, there was no air conditioning when we got there. It was so hot that it was unbearable.
I will not tell anyone not to go because your experience might be different than mine ;but do not have high expectations if you wanna go there

I walked in around 8:30 PM and was confused at first, as it wasnât clear who was working. The server was dressed in casual clothes and appeared to be the only person serving. There was also a young boy who was interacting with guests more than he should have at one point, he interrupted a coupleâs dinner for over 25 minutes and was seen taking water from one table to give to another.
The food took about an hour to arrive, which I understand, as Haitian food often requires more preparation time. However, when the food did come, it was disappointing. We ordered the Haitian spaghetti, which tasted burnt. We also tried the griot sushi and the shrimp sushi, but both were poorly presented and lacked flavor. Additionally, the drinks we ordered were served warm, which was not ideal.
Overall, the experience was underwhelming and lacked the professionalism and quality I had hoped for.
I donât even know where to start. The âambienceâ consisted of temperatures hotter than the 90 degree weather outside. The server didnât know a lot about the food or drinks and continually needed to double check her sources. They served me âhomemade lemonadeâ that I watch the bartender pour from a Welchâs carton. We got plantain cups and although the plantains were hot, the meat inside was cold. We were practically done with our app by the time we got utensils. I got the boneless chicken and it was raw inside so that was great. It was so hot in the restaurant, I watched as my husband sweated onto his food. All this to say, we will never be dining here again.
Also if you notice, all their responses for 1-2 star reviews are just the same generic response. Theyâre not going to change their ways. They donât care about quality. Stay far away from this place!!

Save your time and money and avoid this place. There are way better Haitian restaurants in the Boston/South Shore area, this place simply isnât worth it!
The place itself was a dingy spot not very appealing, and nothing close to the rich Haitian culture youâd hope for or what they have been promoting on social media . They were out of a lot of options on their menu, which made choosing a meal frustrating. The food we did get was a huge letdown. The Djon Djon spaghetti was nasty and overly salty ($23 for spaghetti that doesnât come with meat or veggies is a JOKE), the fish was completely dry, and the Honey Barbancourt Glazed Chicken Sandwich turned out to be a tough, plain chicken breast smothered in generic barbecue sauce, far from what we expected. Even the French fries were badâŠhow do you mess up French fries??! The drinks were awful, you could taste they were made from those cheap powdered mix instead of real fruit juice. But, the Lalo takes the crown for being the worst thing on that menu. Very bland, very bad, very inauthentic! they couldnât ruin it more even if they tried.
Customer service wasn't very good either. the server seemed rushed and was forgetful. Portions were small and prices were way too high for what we received. The overall experience was a 0/5, you couldnât pay me to go back to that place. This restaurant is a disgrace to the Haitian culture/community.

Took my husband for brunch on Fatherâs Day, the greeting was good, but as for as service itâs not quite there yet, only one girl serving making too many trip, one other lady was at at the bar eating and having a conversation with some other people at the bar and she couldnât have come to help the other server she did not, took a long time to get the food, my ordered can with pancakes was halfway sone eating didnât get my pancakes until then which was not flattering pancakes was hard and chewy then , everything that you need you have to asked for, no salt, napkin, then weâre seating there and we saw a kid walking out from the kitchen with a bowl of fried meat go by the bar and outs to the street, itâs was nice that they gave my husband a cup for Fatherâs Day but it was handed to him bare hand with no bag, my husband felt as if he stole the cup coming out the restaurant. As Haitian we tried supporting but service is poor, hopefully they can take that feedback to do better.

Their portion sizes are very small for what you are paying for. I ordered jerk chicken and literally got 2 of the smallest wings Iâve ever seen in my life. I wouldnât recommend spending your hard earned money here.

Food was excellent. Well, Spaghetti Djon Djon was my first try. And I must say it trumps my favorite Haitian dishes. Highly recommended to all! Oh, and I added shrimps
