Visiting, had an excellent meal this evening that turned into a nice night. The food was great, atmosphere great, generous drink pous and staff that were out of this world who helped tell me about the local history, and sights to see, met some fine people and had a very interesting chat. Sad to say, quoting the Chinese, “May you live in interesting times”….based on local politics. Glad I am staying closer to Cambridge for a few more days and wish these people the best. Vote, either by ballot or with their feet, but I digress. So nice to have a nice eveniving while away from home on business.

One of the best places around the area. C.F. McCarthy's has been one of our go to places in Canton. I particularly like their house burger. When I do takeouts, oftentimes the fries are sort of soggy. But it's good when freshly served. I think they changed their menu few months ago. I used to like their avocado mango salad with arugula which was one of the healthy and delicious options on the menu. They no longer serve it. Their zucchini noodle is a great vegan option. You can add your choice of protein as well. It can get a little loud with music and people talking specially if you sit under the speaker. The servers are friendly and the owner really does care about the restaurant. He's a nice guy.

Great experience today! We shared an order of short rib nachos which were the perfect size and quite delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly. She recommended a shot of vanilla vodka to add to my rimmed pumpkin draft. 10/10!! Thank you for your hospitality C .F. McCarthys

This place is great all around. Whenever you go in you will always be greeted with big smiles and proud hellos from the entire staff. The beer is always cold and the food is spectacular even late at night when they switch to their late night menu on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Everyone at C F. McCarthy's deserves a round of applause for creating such a great place.
