Genuinely, this is my new favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is great, and for food as good as this, how do they make it so fast? 10/10 restaurant.

I recently visited Sombreros in Canton and had a very disappointing experience. I had a gift card purchased directly from their website, but when I tried to use it, the manager on shift claimed they had never heard of such a thing and refused to honor it. Despite showing proof of purchase, they still wouldn’t assist in resolving the issue.

On top of that, the food was overpriced and didn’t come close to the quality I’ve experienced at other Mexican restaurants. The staff was friendly and great overall, but the lack of help from management and the quality/overpriced food was a dealbreaker. I won’t be returning and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Friendly staff and reasonable prices but the meat tasted bland and old

August 2024: So I have been back here a few times since 2022. Service still very slow-food comes out at fast, but trying to get waitstaff for anything or to pay is horrible. Food still lacks flavor. Chimichanga's are fried but still somehow soft and mushy.
Paid cash and it even says cash on my bill but got charged a credit card fee and the server pointed out the total bill a couple of times and I gave more than the total and was waiting for my change. I think he expected me to just say ok and leave it for him, which at this point I was suspicious, so I waited for my change. There needs to be a better Mexican restauranin the Canton/Sharon area.

Downgraded from 4 stars to 2 stars.

2022: Mexican food is my favorite, so I could be a food snob about this. Service started real good but got real slow once our food was in front of us. Took forever to get the bill and then have the waiter come back to get it.
Portions were good. Just thought my Fajita Chimichanga was lacking flavor. Chips and salsa given were good. I would go back again, but after trying out a few other places.

Ordered the Popeyes enchilada for some reason. Order a Diet Coke. Had no utensils had to ask for them. I also asked for a refill and the staff member never mentioned that they charge for refills (what a scam) so I was charged for 2 sodas when normally they are free elsewhere.

When I got my check, they charged me an .86 credit card tax even though I paid with CASH. Had to ask the waitress if she could explain about this charge.

Was craving Mexican food tonight, but this place didn’t meet my standards

I came here about a year ago when my brother was visiting. My girlfriend, brother, and I all agreed the food was poor. Our wait staff was terrible. And we thought it was overpriced. I waited a year to give the place another try, based on all the good reviews. We got take out. This time the little interaction with staff was very pleasent. Staff polite, helpful and cordial. The food was horrible. I got nachos. They were greasy, soggy and not worth it. My girlfriend got three tacos. We ordered with no toppings...she has a minor allergy to vegtables like lettuce and tomato. The meat came with no lettuce or tomato but chili peppers that looked like they were cooked with the meat. I really truly believe in supporting local. But this is a no go.

I chose to try Sombrero's because it was convenient to where I was shopping. It was quite busy but the process of being seated, placing my order and receiving my food moved very quickly. The server was professional, knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. I chose the Fajitas Nachos with a side of rice, beans and cheese. Everything was prepared well and delicious. The quality as well as the portion size were very fair for the price. The server was attentive and responsive, checking on me and bringing a to-go container when asked. The interior was what you'd expect - vibrant and festive. Overall it was clean and tables were cleared quickly. I would definitely stop by again.

The food is amazing and the staff are friendly. The environment was welcoming and love the cultural aesthetic.

Parking: Parking is free. Plenty of it!

Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible. However, it might be a tight squeeze if using the end of the table/booth.

I ordered a veggie burrito for takeout. Typically a burrito is a handheld food item. This burrito, if you could even call it that, was oily and melted and squashed into the takeout tray. There was a pile of cut lettuce and tomato on top, making it soggy. Couldn't even eat it, I would've been better off getting

I ordered two plates, the fish taco, and beef tac. Both were so gross, the fish taco had no flavor at all, so did the beef, I should of known because it looked nasty, the only thing that was good was the rice.
