Save yourself the headache and go to Santoro's down the road. They gave me a wish sandwich, as in I wished there was some more meat and the bread was as thin as a dollar store breadstick. ? #disappointed #sandwichfail

My husband's family is from Maine and as a result we are all obsessed with Amato's ham Italian sandwiches. The sandwiches we got tonight (with Extra Tomatoes) were superb. And the sandwich maker who worked tonight was very efficient and friendly. Thank you! My husband's only critique is that the olives were not kalamata.

Awful!! Ordered an Italian Veggie wrap. All it was worth pickles onions and cucumbers in a stale wrap.gross. I Don't waste your money.

I got a large veggie sub and a small capicola. The small capicola was the best of the two. The veggie sub was just too much veggies for a small roll. The Italian pasta salad was good, just a little too heavily sauced. The mac salad was hands down the NASTIEST mac salad i have ever had. It was inedible. DISGUSTING, needs to be changed up

Wondering why with so much good bread available Amato uses what amounts to a glorified hot dog roll for its subs. Terrible.

Amato’s is a huge deal in Maine, where my family is from. We always bring back a cooler full of subs when we go up to visit family, so we were all so excited to hear they were opening a location in Mass. sandwiches taste exactly the same, and the staff are so friendly!

Chicken parmigiana sub would have been edible if the chicken wasnt tougher to eat than beef jerky . Awful.
