I went there with my sister and my sister ordered the French onion soup, she enjoyed it until she got to the bottom of the cup and there was a fly...after making it aware to the owner she offered a free cup of coffee...apparently the chef is on season 1 of bar rescue on peacock not so good

Would have been nice if the restaurant was open at the time they accepted my reservation at 7:00 pm on 2/15/25. Didn’t appreciate driving there 30 mins only to find it was closed. I made this arrangement through Open Table and they confirmed it.

We got to the restaurant for our reservation on Valentine's Day and it was locked up tight and no one was there. Needless to say finding a new restaurant at 7pm on that day was nearly impossible. Will not even try to make reservations there again.

The restaurant was CLOSED!! No notification. The web site was up and running and open for reservations on Valentines Day. What a nightmare to arrive and find it closed.

Food was presented well but on the lukewarm side. Did not look at all like their site pictures. We had a three year old gift card that they did not want to honor in spite of being the same owners. Manager kept saying it wasn’t the gift card they uh use more or less implying we forged it. After speaking to her at great length she told us she would give us half the value of the card. Very disturbing. Let’s not forget the CAT walking around the dining room.

It was a slow night for guests, but service and ambience were great. It's a great place to eat outside.

Gaslighting and lying in their review replies is wild. They blatantly lied about people being apart of huge parties and lying that they informed about the wait due to a large party over the phone despite the reservation being made over website. Bad business practice lying and giving no compensation for a hour and a half wait to find out your food hasn’t even been started yet.

My daughter and son in law just told me that their experience here was horrific- their finances are tight & getting a babysitter for their 8 month old is challenging- they finally got a night out and went to CraneBrook in Carver. After 2 drinks and bread - 1.5 hours later my daughter went to the hostess and asked if their meals had been started - as they had to return home for the babysitter.
They hadn’t. So they asked to pay for what they had gotten -more than 75.00 later they left… no meal, hungry, and having to yet pay for the babysitter. Un-freakin-believable ?
DONT go here my friends - save your gas and get a ‘meal’ elsewhere!!!!! ???

Lobster bisque we found to be a bit pasty and lacking flavor, Mozambique was on point and once we added some of the sauce from that to the bisque it was better. Presentation was on point however the food didn't have much flavor, I had cod, the person I was with had steak. All of the entrees could've used more flavor of any kind.. garlic, basil.. something. As beautiful as it was to sit outside on the water I found it to be overrated for the prices, waitress was lovely & super polite though.

Crane Brook was delicious! The view on the deck was very calm and romantic. It was surprisingly quiet, given how beautiful it was on the deck and how yummy the food was. The waitress was very attentive and kind. Drinks and food were yummy!

They're trying. The execution of the food and the preparation was mediocre. I have had better food at locations with less clutter and more on point prices. The location is very pretty , but would have loved to have had screens on the porch. If this place is going to keep up they're going to have to target younger audiences with better food.

Food was old and overcooked. There were only 3 tables of people on a beautiful Saturday night so if that's the norm then god knows how long that food had been sitting in a freezer. Considering the prices and the location, I was expecting a LOT more. Disappointing birthday dinner
