Worst meal I have ever had! The “16 ounce blackened New York strip steak” was, at best 8 ounces, 50% of which was gristle. The potatoes were cold, hard, (described as mashed”?). It was Valentines Day, so they took advantage of customers like us!I have to add that we are very familiar with the Cranebrook, back to when it was the Cranebrook Tea room. Many special events were celebrated there. That was the MOST expensive horrible meal. So sad.

Very small portions of food Stuffed mushrooms -4 pieces very small Shrimp - 5 shrimp rubbery but sauce was good Entrees Blackened honey salmon Very small and dry 1/2 a duck Ok flavor Both dishes came with mashed potatoes that were old and reheated by a microwave probably I had asparagus for my vegetable with my duck It was literally 4 pieces It took 45 minutes to get our entrees after our appetizer and it took even longer for the waitress to bring me the water I ordered when I requested it after the appetizers Horrible Valentine's Day not worth it at all Won't ever recommend it

Always delicious! Love this restaurant! We went for Valentines Day dinner and although they had a full house the service was great. They had a lovely piano player to entertain as well.

Our dinner at the new Cranebrook was sublime. The ambiance was just what we were looking for . The food and drinks were perfect and the service was perfectly paced. Can't wait to return for our next special dinner. This place is perfect!

ZERO stars .. I was extremely excited to try this place out. Please know our apps were ok nothing great to talk about but ok.. French onion soup was terrible tasted like gravy..Our meal on the other hand..... I Ordered a med rare filet received it med-med well I politely asked for a new one that wasn't over cooked. Waitress returned with my steak to inform me chef said it was cooked perfect. When I tell you the outside was well and the very dead center (small very small area) was medium rare I was not happy for a $48 piece of meat I want the entire thing to be medium rare. Well chef wasn't happy with me he didn't come to our table and talk to us. he instead cornered me (while I was going to the restroom) pointed a finger in my face and proceeded to yell at me. After waitress had taken steak off bill the owners wife (I think) put the steak back on bill right before running our card and proceeded to tell us to take it off her tip. I'm sorry it's not her fault steak wasn't cooked properly it's the chefs fault but yet the establishment had no problem taking money out of their staffs pocket to cover their own mistakes. I really wanted my experience to be great but absolutely was the opposite. I would never recommend them to anyone ever.

They serve tomahawk steaks but you will have to ask for availability as it isn't on the menu.

This is a great place to get a meal, but overpriced. I went on a date here and spent an extraordinary amount of money on the meals. I live locally and will only go here on special occasions. If it were more reasonably priced, I'd be here weekly.

Outstanding dinner date with my wife last night. We've been here before (~3 years ago), and figured it was time to head south to Carver again and we're very glad we did. Easy to reserve a table, we were greeting warmly upon entering with the wood stove adding to the ambiance. This is not a large restaurant, and we were seating in the middle of the room at a table. Our server was outstanding, seemingly showing up right when we thought about finding her. Service was quick. Appetizers were good (5 fried pickles), our dinners were outstanding, the wine/drinks menu is extensive, and our dessert drinks were perfectly done. Its a little expensive for the area, but this is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for".
