Even though restaurant is in an old-school plaza the inside is very cute and charming. Friendly and attentive staff. Amazing and fresh guacamole that we loved. Our disappointment came when our entrees arrived- Chicken Quesadilla and Spinach Enchiladas- and they were covered in a queso cheese sauce.... never in my life seen that. It just seemed wrong. We were expecting normal shredded, melted cheese..... not liquid cheese sauce. Could not pick up the quesadilla to eat it because the cheese was dripping. The use of this cheese sauce ruined both of the dishes, that otherwise would have been fine. Is what they think Americans want? Because it isnt. I would implore them to stop using queso sauce that way, it just smothers any flavor the dish could have on its own. The grilled chicken in the quesadilla was quality and nicely cooked but my daughter deemed it inedible because it was covered in the slippery cheese sauce.

The Manager was Rude and it's ridiculous they charge you for sourcream and guacamole when it says it comes with the meal. The Waiter was very nice I feel bad for the people who work there the Manager seems like he is to controlling and has no personality.Dietary restrictions: They have GF,

I was disappointed with my experience. I went with my daughter at about 1:30 on a Thursday afternoon. We ordered a kids chicken quesadilla and a herradurra burrito. After a cheese quesadilla came out and I was told I ordered cheese not chicken (maybe, I make mistakes ) our server offered to bring a little side of chicken to correct. I thought that was nice and accepted, except he brought a huge plate of chicken saying it was the only side they had. It was a charge of $9 on my bill. ( I was not told before hand and would not have added a $9 side of shredded chicken for my 3 year old) Pretty much the price of the quesadilla I ordered to begin with. And I was brought the $19 dinner portion of what I ordered instead of the $13 lunch. I didn’t realize I would have to specify I wanted lunch at 1:30pm, and my server didn’t ask, just rang in a gave the dinner. I left feeling like I was cheated out of $15. I don’t see myself going back or recommending.

Everytime I come and pick up lunch which mind you is always almost $80, the owner (I think) is just straight up rude. If you pay cash, he takes the change out of his wallet and tries to jip you everytime. 3 times I was shorted a $1-3 because they “didn’t have it”. Lucky the food is decent or I would never ever go back. His attitude is just awful!
Have had a few wonderful meals here. The food is fresh and perfectly seasoned. The drinks are top notch. The service was friendly and atmosphere festive and authentic. It is our favorite Mexican restaurant.
I got the chicken Fajita Quesadilla. It was delicious. I definitely will go back.

(He looked to be the manager). Not coming back.food was absolutely disgusting, worst Mexican food I have ever had!!!

It's a very busy place, so (obviously) popular. However, its popularity is unwarranted.1) Service: The service was less than mediocre. My server was very inattentive, possibly because he was stretched too thin. He didn't return to inquire whether or not my food was good. He didn't inquire whether or not I wanted a refill for my drink.2) Food: I ordered enchiladas mole poblano. A) Not enough mole. B) No other accompanying sides except for a salad consisting of iceberg lettuce, a few bits of diced tomato and some sour cream.I won't return.
