Cannot begin to describe how frustrated I am with the service. Pre ordered dinner for three the day before New Year’s Eve knowing it’s a popular idea and not wanting to wait until the last minute. Day of my husband went to pick it up and waited 2 hours to get to food (one of many people stuck waiting). Wish he could have left but they had him pre pay so we would’ve been out $100. As it is we had to make an alternate meal at home since our three year old couldn’t wait any longer. Ordered from here before with no problem but cannot believe how poorly customers were treated today-no updates and no explanations. Food was as expected just an extremely frustrating situation.

They are very friendly and nice clean place. I recommend this place and from now on this will be our go to for Chinese takeout!❤️?

Today, Christmas Eve, I picked up a preorder for 2pm. I arrived and moments later they gave me my piping hot order. I was happy to see that it was just made and when the family ate the food they couldn’t believe how fresh it was. For a large order, they did an amazing job! People kept asking me where I ordered the food from. Thank you Lu’s Kitchen for making our Christmas Eve dinner a hit. This is a small restaurant with great food. We started ordering here 4 years ago and haven’t stopped.

As authentic Chinese as any place in Lowell area at an exceptional price point. Genuine Szechuan dishes. Dumplings are 3-4 star. Service is friendly and prompt. Some tables but really for take out.
I consider myself an American-Chinese food aficionado. I base each restaurant on the staples that most people order and also order additional uncommon items. On top of that I add instructions such as "well done" or "make the sauce spicier". Lu's got my order exact and the food is really unexpectedly high quality for a typical American-Chinese spot. I ordered the general gau dinner (general gau extra crispy), and it was done perfectly. Hot and spicy fried rice is really amazing. Not that spicy but it tastes so damn good! Sichuan peppers and tamarind flavors are really bright which is a nice alternative from your traditional fried rice (a must try). Sichuan dumplings are great, but I really wanted more Sichuan pepper flavor in it. The dumpling wraps are egg based and have a great bite to them, not mushy at all. Chicken wings and eggrolls were spot on. The eggroll could be more well done, was under cooked. First visit and I can't wait to taste the menu!!

The reason for the one star is the $3 charge for extra hot mustard, why doesn’t hot mustard come with $50 worth of Chinese food? I’ll stick with my other go to for Chinese, they don’t charge for hot mustard , plus, the food has gone way down hill here!!
