Atmosphere was beautiful, Dinner was outstanding and Service was excellent!! Our waitress greeted us with a smile, recommended different options off the menu and everyone in our party loved everything we got! Cocktails were ice cold and top notch. The small plates were fun to share; we enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, beet salad, korean chicken wings...the truffle fries and bbq short ribs were amazing! The hummus plate was a win and the skillet mac n cheese with pork belly was not only delicious but big enough for 2 meals! We ended with a pumpkin martini and a half dozen hot cookies that hit the spot!! We will definitely be back- highly recommend this gem of a restauran!!

The Korma Cauliflower was excellent. Our seasonal greens salad with scallops and brick chicken were superb. Moonstones has great flavors backed by great service. (Thank you, Zach!)

What a gem! My husband and I went to Moonstones on a Sunday before a concert in Lowell. We had been to their sister restaurant, Cobblestones previously and enjoyed it. It was very quiet inside for a Sunday evening, only a few parties, however, they did not disappoint. The staff was very attentive and the food was delicious and prices very reasonable. I decided to have small plates, shrimp tempura, crispy cauliflower and Szechuan eggplant with tofu. My husband had the halibut special. Every bite was so good! ? Looking forward to returning someday maybe for Sunday brunch.
Vegetarian options: I had the crispy cauliflower and Szechuan eggplant with tofu Both were delicious!
Dietary restrictions: I have a peanut intolerance and the staff was very careful to ensure I was safe
Parking: They share a large parking lot with a hotel and there’s plenty of parking

I really like this place. It has a great vibe and atmosphere, eclectic music and decor. I come here a few times a week to kill time after work to let the traffic die down before heading home. All of the staff are very welcoming.
I sit at the bar; the people are friendly and fun. The bartender, Jeff, is great. For the food, I've had the Cambodian peanuts, mozzarella flatbread, and peppadew peppers with goat cheese. All delicious.
They have specials on seafood regularly, if you eat meat - Mondays are particularly popular. I highly recommend checking this place out.

We both ordered the same steak medium-rare. One was cooked correctly but mine was well done. The manager agrees that it was well done and asks me if I want a replacement. I declined since I was pretty full after eating appetizers and roughly half of my entree. The manager then asks if I want a box for it (I am assuming this was a joke) and after I said no thank you he just disappears without saying anything further. I assumed he went to take care of it in the final bill or to do something else to compensate for it. After receiving the bill I realized he had just disappeared without any explanation and was not going to do anything about it.
I was really surprised by the quality of the steak but moreover the behavior of the manager, as this is supposedly an upscale eatery. If I spend close to a $100 per person I expect a lot better service than what was provided.

Very yummy! We just had small plates at the bar. Bartender was very knowledgeable about ingredients, they were happy to make normally vegetarian dishes vegan for us, and the food was great!
Rightly experimental cuisine and a very cool environment, the only problem but it is a constant in the USA, freezing temperatures....bring a sweatshirt.

The food used to be very good even though expensive. The oysters were some of the best if not all.
Tonight, oysters smelled bad and the food wasn’t that good.
We go there every two weeks so we expected the same good quality.
We really like this restaurant and we hope that the restaurant quality doesn’t go down.
There have been a couple restaurants near by that we liked very much but over the last few years the food quality has gone down drastically and the food prices have gone up.
Please, managers pay attention.
Thank you

First trip back in a few years and first time sitting inside (last time was outside). The layout was interesting with a big open dinning room/bar area with smaller, private rooms off to the side. Very fun lighting by the bar. There is also an unused (at least last night) chef table closer to front door. I could tell some of the speakers where off or not working.
The ever busy bartender did a great job managing his staggering workload. Made some great look drinks including my own.
Food looked amazing. Love the pepperdew peppers. Great mix of sweet (honey), spicy (peppers), and creamy (cheese). The special shrimp avacado tostados didn't start well (some shrimp had that left out at room temp taste and didn't seem to be properly seasoned). The Truffle Parmesan Fries were excellent but like it was more expensive then it should be.
However, with such a nice variety on the menu, easy parking, and the service, I'll be heading back more often for more food.

I started as a patron here, became a server, then became patron again. It says a lot about a restaurant and their quality! Seeing "behind the scenes" made me feel even more comfortable with coming here to eat. I love the atmosphere and the waitstaff, bartenders and Justin the manager are great and I will keep coming here 2+ times per week ?

I was SO excited to try this place out!!! Upon arrival the host was really sweet. We asked to sit outside she said she just had to check with the server to see if he was ok to serve us, she said he was and sat us outside and gave us water. We waited 12 minutes did not get greeted at all!!! Not even a “hi I’ll be right over” but made clear eye contact with me. It’s clear they don’t need customers. I wouldn’t waist my time driving there!
