Purchased Pizza and a Garden Salad. The cucumber slices on the salad had deteriorated to the point of having such a thick layer of slime that it transferred to the lettuce, necessitating that the entire salad be thrown out.....terrible!! See photos.

Tables could be wiped more frequently, especially during down time

I have been going to Sals in Chelmsford for many years. They have a great selection of pizza and subs using quality and the freshest ingredients. On occasion just like anywhere there may be a hiccup but they have been extremely consistent in providing amazing food. Had a sausage pizza there on Mothers Day believing it would not be busy. There were only two employees working and the place was hopping. Those workers were amazing, great personalities, handled everything with ease, and the pizza I received may have possibly been the best pizza I ever had from there. Highly recommend!

Great food, I prefer the cheese slice. It's so big you get two slices for one really. Love it. Reasonably priced.

Perfectly made thin crust, and just delicious. It is a great place for a salad and pizza lunch.

Pizza is the best in the area. Will change to 5 stars when topping purchases are respected. I'm finally writing this review because every time (and there have been many times) I order 2X pepperoni (sometimes on one half only) it's obvious there is no difference to 1X pepperoni. I also ordered basil once and there was such a small amount it was comical. I would have thought it accidentally floated across the pizza had I not paid more than $3 for it.

Food & Service are always good. I miss the old 'atmosphere' and don't care for the redesign done a few years back, but that's not what folks come here for- it's all about the pizza.

Huge pies with thin crust and a lot of sauce- definitely not for those who like a 'crispy undercarriage' but it is a New England classic, and it's easy to make a meal out of their pizzas.

The calzones are decent as well, as are the garlic knots. Definitely a great place to stop for lunch, or order ahead and pick up some food on the way home to dinner!

the pizza is really very good, but they are deceiving their customers because I bought an extra large pizza, which was supposed to be 19” and in fact it is only 17”, I complained about this and they did not take any action, they just said it was an extra large, so I decided to measure the box and not even the box is 19” it is only 18 1/2, attendants are uneducated and have no consideration for the customer!!!

The place is meh, ever since covid stuff has change. Sometimes the food isn't cut properly as you can see in the other reviews and management themselves have changed a bit. It used to be good but now it's at best "mid" place to eat. I can tell the people who work here are just stuck with their jobs and I kinda feel bad for them. Yeah I understand that it may be high schoolers or college students but I tend to see people come and go. I hope manager or atleast the owner sees the review and enforces quality control.

pizza was very mid. I could literally buy a pizza from pizza hut and it would taste better!! Service was also awful, felt like they did not value their customers at all. Do yourself a favor and buy pizza from somewhere else.
