Not only is their food and coffee great but they have a great staff. I just left there and the man helping me behind the counter was amazing at his job. While he was busy and multitasking he was still happy, friendly, personable and took my order right away. Seriously great customer service.

My friends and I have been going to Java in Chelmsford, MA, for years. It's our chance to get together and grab some coffee, a quick wrap, quiche, or soup and catch up for a couple hours. No one ever rushes us out. It's basically a coffeehouse and wine bar offering light fare, Wi-Fi, and live jazz on weekends. This past Tuesday my friends and I met again and ordered our usual. Turns out our tab was zero, as a person had come in during morning hours and had given Java several hundreds of dollars in her mother's honor. That money was to be used to defray the cost of patrons' orders. So my soup and quiche and my friends' lunches were free. Was the sweetest gesture ever. I didn't meet the benefactor, but it was a wonderful surprise. Her mother would have been very pleased that we and others enjoyed her generosity.

Bring earplugs. Don't understand the loud music. Could see it in the evening with cocktails sure, but on what could have been a relaxing Saturday morning? Just wanted to enjoy time with my friend and it was so loud it was a strain to talk. Lentil soup was very good. Quiche was disappointing, so loaded with spinach that was all I could taste, and crust not flaky but more heavy. Matcha latte was great, could have been warmer. My friend said the coffee was on the weaker side for her. You order at the counter and try to figure out if you should sit down or wait because they say nothing! Cute place if not for the loud music.

Pros: location, comfortable & friendly staff. Con: Made the mistake of getting chai at a coffee shop. Theirs is extremely sweet. Steer clear unless you really like very sweet drinks. I'll stick to coffee next time.

What can I say about this lovely gathering place, coffee house, delicious food, scrumptious desserts and the people who run it are like family. From the welcoming atmosphere, to the friendly faces who not only remember you when you first go in, but remember your goings ons. As well s you remember theirs. So many times I was depressed when I lost my job but everyone there have me a reason to get up get dressed and go out to this joyful place. If all the wonderful treatment wasn't enough, they have music, live music on the weekends. As Candy, the owner shares about music, that it brings feelings warm fuzzy feelings out. It only adds to the positive vibes. In a world full of negativity, and fighting, this is a place that brings people together, young, and old, of every nationality to share a coffee, a sandwich, and lovely people all around.Parking: Plenty of itKid-friendliness: Children always come with their families and even dance along to music on weekends.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps so many people come in wheelchairs.

Food good if a bit pricey, but the younger girls on staff are passive-aggressively rude and clearly do not want to be there.

The Java Room is my coffee haven, boasting a divine iced coffee and a croissant sandwich that's a culinary delight. But what sets this place apart is the live music, turning every visit into a sensory treat. The harmonious blend of rich brews, flavorful bites, and live tunes creates an unforgettable experience. It's a five-star gem that hits all the right notes for coffee enthusiasts and music lovers alike!
