I enjoyed my take-out food which was dumplings with pork fried rice! It was delicious, the dumplings had a crispy shell and I had plenty of sauce!
When I came in, the store was a bit messy. With napkins and a few plates on tables but there was someone cleaning tables while I came in already which is good. The environment is interesting, feels like I'm in a different time with the art they have and I like their mirror along the wall.
Downsides:
For me personally, having to pay with cash. I don't normally carry cash with me so I took some out at the ATM they had which includes a $2 fee unfortunately.
Also, when I approached the counter to order, the man at the front spoke to me in a way that felt like he was raising his voice at me. I'm not sure if it was a misunderstanding, since he doesn't speak English and maybe thought I couldn't understand him but I have been there a few times and every time I've went, he raises his voice a bit for some reason. 🤷♀️?
The prices online aren't the same as the prices in store. They have folded paper menus inside that you can take with you but it's a bit frustrating thinking I'm going to the store to pay one price after looking at them online, and end up paying more which is completely different from the prices listed online. Hope this gets fixed!
Overall, food is great. 😄 I don't dine in I always get take-out when ordering here so I don't have anything to say about the dining in experience. And if you want to get food, make sure you take one of their menus so you'll know the prices for ordering next time!

The decor is stuck in the early 1980s; the chairs haven't changed a bit. The food menu is very old-school, as are the floors. There is no music or TV; all you can hear is the kitchen.
The food is hit or miss. It's not the same as it was four to seven years ago. Most of the time, it is very greasy, with not bad portions. However, the main thing that always brings so many people in is the price and the quality of the food. The price is affordable for anyone. The quality used to be better.
Service, I haven't gotten bad service from them. I can't say much, but definitely look at the minutesreviews here to determine.
I paid two plates in total of 22 bucks. Back then used to be 15.
Wait time, two plates as it right now. 15-30 .
A lot of the food here is so-so at best, but they make the best chicken wings in town and it's not even close. The salt & pepper wings are also great.
That guy in the cashier's is so mean and has anger issues, he even got my family's order wrong once. But the food is great.
If you can get past the rude guy taking your order the food is good

The chicken must’ve been left to sit unrefrigerated for a long time the meat smells bad and tastes off as well. Got food poisoning here a couple years ago, but this time I will never go back.

OMG! This place has been here forever.
You'd think by now the chef and order person would understand one another! And that's aside from how they have been cutting corners more and more!
Anyway, today I ordered wonton egg drop soup , and Yes, the boneless ribs (my cat loves them). They made an order of fried wonton, ribs and regular egg drop soup.
Being a sport, and a decent consumer, I said, I'd take the fried wonton, but I wanted the wonton egg drop soup. He brought the egg drop soup to the cook to have the wonton added. I saw the cook with the soup. He took the lid off, I walked away. He did nothing more than put the lid back on!
I should not have been required to stay at the counter and stare him down!
When I returned home to bring it to my family member (I am a 24/7 caregiver and had to get someone to stay with my family member. She is not suppose to be left alone). There were no wonton's in the soup!
I called. The man at the counter answered and gave me a very hard time. He did not give me the option to return it. Just yelled. He didn't want to hear it.
This has not been the first time they couldn't make what they offered.
My neighbor told me to, "Stay out of there. I know the local police. I was told, they use to order take out from them a lot, and stopped. Bugs were found in the food orders many times. They no longer go there"!
Call them yourself. I haven't.I do know my neighbor lived her all her life. She knows the police, fire department and EMS people in the area. And she is a very honest, sincere woman.
It had been several months since we used them. I hoped that issue stopped. Their attitude hasn't and neither is the amount of grease and fats in their food!
I tried the fried wantons. I've had them many times before. They were disgusting, spit it out! No idea what they filled it with. But it wasn't pork!
Regarding the boneless ribs, the pictures with their menus on the walls, don't show boneless ribs with all that fat! It is almost 40% fat!
The egg drop soup was acceptable. A bit too thin.
We won't be going back to Chung wah again.
We are a consumer oriented society. It is not like they are giving it away. And there is no sign that says, "As Is"!. I expect to get what they advertise and I pay them to cook.
