We got take out from the Malden location which is the old Dockside. It is only a short distance from our house so we picked it up immediately. First the mashed potatoes were straight from a box and my husband got a big dry scoop in a plastic container. The ribs were fatty and I could not tell if it was fat mixed with meat or just plain old fat. We also got salad with it and honestly it was in a clear plastic container like you might get a muffin in and it was not even 1/6 of the way filled. Maybe there were 6 lettuce leaves and not something one would ever want to eat. We got chicken parm and steak tips too. All sub-par. Prices were high and averaged about 24.00 per item with a 250 charge to add on 3 raviolis. Never again!! There may be lines now but to be sure if the quality remains the same the lines will go down.

Kathy a weekly patron!

I love going to Floramo’s because of their great food but more importantly I go back every week because of the great customer service from one super waitress Sherry. She has excellent customer service always makes sure your food & drink is to your liking and always has a smile on her face. Sherry goes above & beyond to satisfy the customer. Floramo’s you must take Sherry to your Malden location. She is an asset to your restaurant. With her great service as a waitress it’s Sherry that makes the customer come back. She deserves a raise and I hope I see her at your Malden Location!

I tried this place since the reviews were pretty good, and it was close to the Hotel. I did takeout, and was surprised that they had no way to order on-line. I walked to the place and was excited since most of the patrons were local. This is usually a sign of pretty good food. I ordered from the front desk and selected stuffed mushrooms, rib appetizer, and a meat lasagna. The food was bagged fairly quick and I left. I tried the food and was appalled. The (seafood) stuffed mushrooms had no taste and the mushrooms were barely cooked. The stuffing was not seafood but more of a panko or bread. There was no seafood taste or smell. In the trash it went. I next tried the ribs. They were cooked very well and fall off the bone tender. However, they were very dry and they had no flavor. It had a hint of smoke and a very light glaze of BBQ sauce. Being so dry, and they did not include any extra sauce, I could not eat the things. One more item to the trash. My last chance was the Meat Lasagna. It was OK at best. Burnt on the edges and hard to chew but the center section did taste like Lasagna. It was also served with a small salad that looked wilted so it went in the trash, and a very small piece of bread that was very fresh and tasty. Over $40.00 for a meal that mostly was inedible. If you are a local and think this place has good food, I have no hope for you. This is a place that you do not want to waste your time or money on.

Not a big fan, but know many people who are. Last time I was there, it was lunchtime. Restaurant was very crowded. Prices were okay. Food portions were small. Going somewhere else for the same cost would be a better option.

I'll tell you what! Great food to fill the belly with even better service provided by Sherry

We have been coming here for years. We love the food. My wife had the chicken Fifth ave and it was cooked to perfection. I had the steak tips and you can NEVER go wrong with them!! Lorri C was our server and all I can say is she probably find another line of work, she was truly lacking. If I got served in her section again, I would ask to be moved and if not, I would leave.

Don't let the outer appearance throw you. The place is simply amazing!! The waitress said they are known for the Steak Tips and now i know why. So soft, so tender, so full of flavor. This meal alone would make me drive back to Boston.

Very good food and service. Our server was very helpful and made excellent recommendations. I had the veal Parmesan and my wife had the baked haddock. Both were excellent, and the portions are generous. We appreciated the family friendly atmosphere and welcoming vibe. Highly recommend for casual dining.

Went for dinner last night and was very disappointed. Food came out cold after a long wait. So I had a microwaved dinner. Would not rush back.

I was introduced to Floramo's from a friend and he did not steer me wrong! Grabbed a high top by the bar and received excellent service. Ordered the steak tips which were cooked perfectly being tender, juicy and full of flavor. Portions were large and I was happy to to bring home leftovers which I will need to hide in the fridge because I'm not willing to share this deliciousness :).

What a disappointment! This used to be a favorite, sadly we will never be back. On top of spoiled food being served, and undercooked steak tips being served, the management was HORRIBLE! We explained the issues, and she was far from apologetic. Sadly, being a staple in the community, doesn't cut bad management and poor food service. The only good thing about our meal was our waitress.

Old style family owned Italian restaurant. Extensive menu. Professional service. Crowded & noisy at peak times. Reserve a booth.

Sometimes the waitstaff just makes it. The food was indeed very good. I haven't had steaks tips that tender and delicious in years. With that said, the bartender and service was so refreshing, prompt, fun, pleasant. No COVID bs excuses like being used every where you turn. Hats off to Floramo's!
