Take a good look at your bill, they over charge and include the tip, so if you don't pay attention you end up double tipping. The food is mediocre, the service also mediocre. I would never go back to this place.

Beware, this place over charges on take out orders, I complained to the owner and ignored me, other Friends don't order anymore from this place because they always charge 6 to 8 dollars more that the actual cost of the food.I'm posting this because I don't think its fair what the do the customers. Just so you know, to proof their abuse, I ate in the restaurant, the next day I order the same food and in fact they were charging 8 dollars more.

So I've walked by here a few times and I decided that it looked very authentic so I wanted to try it out. Everything is definitely authentic and the food looks and taste wonderful. I think I was overcharged for my meal because everywhere I had it up it just doesn't add up correctly. So I started with the chips and salsa which is complementary and the salsa is excellent. The chips are definitely homemade but they would've been much better if they were still warm. However they did have a great flavor I just prefer a warm chip. Instead of indulging in a big meal I wanted to try a couple samples so I started off with a few tamales. The first tamale was a chicken tamale with vegetables obviously wrapped in the plantain leaves. The tamale was fabulous lots of chicken great taste. On the menu it says $3.25 per. The second tamale I ordered what is a Mexicanos tamale with pork red salsa tamale however I got a second chicken which was OK because it did taste delicious but I wanted to get a variety. No I was going to order a couple pupusas. And our waitress who is extremely nice but I do not think she understood any of my English or A very very little bit of it. She mentioned that they have them on sale for $1.25 I was ordering three anyways so I could get a taste in there on the menu for three dollars each, so I thought I was getting a big discount Ha ha ha. Anyways I ordered one soda. They had canned soda so I got a sprite. And I asked for a second round of chips and salsa. I am not sure if I got charged for that or if it was complementary. Anyways the service was fabulous. The atmosphere was fabulous. The food was extremely authentic and tasted great. However I'm still confused on the pricing because my bill was $28. So anyway you add that up it's $16 tops even if the pupusa's were three dollars each. Plus whatever the soda was. Anyways I didn't say anything and I still gave the girl a excellent tip. Next time I will just inquire with the pricing is prior to ordering as I believe it was $10 over cost of the menu. I definitely would highly recommend going here for an authentic meal just inquired the pricing upfront. There's plenty of street parking it is metered you can use coins or a credit card. I give this place a straight up four star review.

I hate they made me do the math for the food and gave me my receipt with the note paper. As well took way to long when we were the only ones in here. As well they were crackling and laughed thing while there was flys everywhere in our food. The coke cost 4 dollars costing more than the food. If I could rate it 0 I would.
