Absolutely FANTASTIC! These subs are truly some of the best I’ve had, and I frequently go to Italian delis. I also almost never write a review, but the folks working at the shop made me feel at home immediately, and they deserve a shout out for their incredible service! The subs were quickly made, tasted delicious, and were fairly priced. I would give them a 20/10 if I could, and I can’t wait to come back! If you’re looking for a convenient, filling, affordable, and all around amazing sub, you must try this place!

Steak and cheese or steak bomb is my go to sub there you gotta ask for the salami to be cooked in with the steak bomb I don't know why usually it's already in a steak bomb but for some reason they don't do it there so you have to ask it's delicious and the subs are huge. You can't go wrong eating there.

What a gem! We are visiting from out of town and just happened to stumble upon this place and it did not disappoint! They were so nice and welcoming, even gave us a free goodie bag of a few things since we said our flight was delayed! The food was amazing (order the chicken cutlet sub!!!), service was amazing, don’t think twice about going here!

The steak bomb was the best sub that I have ever eaten in my life. I thought it was a normal sized one, no it was two normal sized ones. Steaming hot with cheese and the freshest bread I have ever had on a sub. If you are ever in the Boston area, you should head toward Salem and take the Chelsea exit and try one.

Wow, the subs here are no joke! I ordered the steak bomb (delicious!) and had enough to feed three hungry adults - the sandwich was literally longer than my forearm. Service was quick and friendly, and I loved the old-school feel of the joint. Highly recommended! S&L is a serious contender for one of the top sandwich shops on the North Shore!
