Good morning, 13 million viewers! Thank you, thank you, thank you for reading and engaging with my reviews—I love that you all follow along with my coffee adventures.

Now let’s talk Starbucks. Guys, I don’t know if it’s just me, but the Starbucks around the Boston area are slipping. Weak, watery coffee and a service experience that feels completely understaffed. Honestly, I feel like Caffè Nero and Tatte are starting to take over this city.

Here’s the thing: I love Starbucks. When I travel through D.C., Maryland, Virginia, or even Florida, the quality is consistent and strong. But here in Boston? Sketchy at best.

This visit was… mixed. The coffee itself tasted good (thankfully!), but the service was cringeworthy.

Sarah—who was clearly overworked and underpaid—was left to handle all orders, both walk-ins and mobile. I waited 10 minutes just to order, then another 15 to get my drink. By the time I got it, my phone had almost died from being in the store so long.

Sarah looked like she was ready to walk out from her job at any given moment!

With that being said, when you’re paying close to $10 for a cup of coffee, you want it right. My drink was light—about 2/3 full. When I asked if she could top it off, she told me she’d add “milk” and never circled back. After another long wait, I gave up, drank it as it was, and left.

To make things worse, the outside seating area was messy and uninviting. Coffee was fine, but for the price, portion, and service, it didn’t come close to expectations.

Starbucks, Boston—you need to step it up. Customers deserve consistency, full cups, and basic service for the price we’re paying.

Shame on the manager Sarah for denying water on this hot summer day to a poor gentleman . She stated “sorry, water is just for paying customers but you can go to the counter and buy some bottled water”. Sarah was so rude to this poor man. Shame on Starbucks for training their baristas like this , shame on you Sarah the Manager .

Great location with easy access and quick in/ out. Warm and friendly greetings from the moment you arrive. Drinks were ready and waiting at the mobile pickup area.

Decided to stay and enjoy the A/C as it's a warm day. Plenty of seating available, clean and comfortable.

Remember to tip your Baristas!

Horrible experience ! I decided to go to regular Starbucks location today in Chelsea. When i came into the entrance to head towards the drive through a car was illegally parked in front of the Starbucks blocking the entrance to go through the drive through. I went around him like anyone else would because he decided where he parked was the right spot to talk to someone he was dropping off while that person was heading towards the door. While he was talking he decided to start driving off while not checking his surroundings areas for any other cars. When i was going to take the slight turn in the driveway he did end up rear ending my car . I then got out my car and yelled at him freedom of speech because the least he could have done was simply pay attention instead of driving and not looking. He went on how he didn’t hit my car but he did mean while he now has a scratch on his car because of it. I was very upset which i have the right. I then proceeded on because my car had no damage. I went in the driveway through to order my drink and when i was told to come to the window I then see the employee who was outside who witnessed everything name is REMY. She is a SHIFT SUPERVISOR. She then came up to the window and told me she seen everything that happened outside. I’m thinking she’s understands what happened because MY car got hit where a car was ILLEGALLY PARKED AND BLOCKING THE DRIVE WAY ENTRANCE. She then brought up how she will not be serving me because i was arguing with the other driver and his girlfriend (who may or may not work there) I have freedom of speech to be upset. I was not on the side walk of Starbucks nor in the drive through yet. i was in the parking lot. I did not say anything disrespectful to the employee named REMY. I was also a customer who planned on getting a refresher before the incident happened that was not my fault. This is very bad customer service for someone who’s supposed to be a shift supervisor.I was rejected a beverage for a incident that wasn’t my fault. This location has bad customer service and lack of empathy for their customers. She needs to learn when or when not she should have taken action for rejecting a order for a more serious matter not me for getting my car hit. Please advice on this employee who is a supposed to be a supervisor. Horrible experience with REMY.

Update... not sure why i keep trying with this place. I never seen such miserable staff as much as this location. They don't smile, have no erergy, they act like they hate what they do. Really need some management to do something. Over all energy is horrible. This Starbucks can't decide on hours or if they want to be open, sometimes app orders are available sometime it's not. Very unreliable same as the coffee flavor. Wish they would close and replace with something that is going to be dependable.

Mario is the only one who has been kind to me at this location. He showcases exceptional customer service and the female (Annie I believe) who worked with him today was rude. If you’re going to work in customer service and sales, then check your attitude and emotional intelligence prior to coming into work

The worst service, the guy never took my order because I was not a lawyer. When a lawyer came in, he was the first one who served me. You have to look good if you want to be sold here

Went there and ordered a coffee and a muffin. The barista was done with my coffee a full 5 minutes before my muffin was “warned.” When I asked how long it takes for a muffin to be warmed was informed that the person doing all the food brings everything they have at once. To me this is poor service, to get a premade item I have to wait for them to make all their Saskatchewan including cooking various meats and eggs. How does this make any sense?

I used to love coming here when I needed a remote workspace. Not much anymore. Music is really loud, making it impossible to focus. It used to be a busy location but lately you don’t see many folks working here, and service not as good as it used to be. Unfortunate, I miss how it was.
