Came to Winnisimmet lounge with a group of 6 people. Overall I thought it was a nice dinner, that was more interesting and better quality than your average bar/pub. My only significant criticism was the construction of the menu. The majority of dishes were small plates, with only 2 entree items (pork shank and steak), and a burger special. The online menu listed 3 entree items, but regardless I felt this was a bit lacking for a place that is essentially a bar. The smaller plates (while individually cheaper than an entree) provide for a more expensive meal overall. After ordering two salads with chicken, splitting the Chicken Parm bites (emphasis on BITES), and two drinks each between my partner and I, it came to be $80. The food was good, but overall fairly basic. In order for me to come back, I would need to see a more extensive list of entrees, at a more reasonable price point.

Staff and service were exceptional I would like to start off with that. The food on the other hand...... We saw the bit on Phantom Gourmet and it looked and sounded great took this picture off the TV show, the real thing on the other hand left much to be desired. My friend and I both ordered the steak skewers and between the four skewers we got there was not even as much steak on all 4 as shown on one in the picture. It was like they took one steak tip cut it into 4 tiny pieces add one piece of potato two pieces of onion and the rest was all peppers (which I am not a big fan of to begin with). Extremely disappointed more than likely will not return.

4th time at the Winnismmet Lounge ... and they don't disappoint. Had the scallop risotto, pork belly, and Salmon tonight and they are delicioussss. The pork belly is marinated with candied maraschino cherries (so a sweeter flavor, the scallops were crispy on the edges and softly cooked in the center, with the salmon perfectly broiled ! It's NYE and we plan to head to the Encore casino for festivities, but we stopped at Winnismmet for dinner first as we didnt feel like paying out the wazoo for muhhhhh ♀️. So toasts to an amazing local haunt with great food and even greater staff !

Only thing going for this place is the service and food (Highly recommend the shrimp bruschetta). Native American portraits hang on the wall and this is a clear indication of cultural appropriation as there is no context nor acknowledgement of who the person is. Drinks are overpriced for the quantity that they serve you.

We went there for our anniversary and it was great. The service and food were excellent, drinks perfectly made. Plus they have dollar oysters on Wednesdays. Will definitely be going back!
