The clam chowder was delicious.Ribs great.Pot roast, horrible, not even really pot roast. It was a slab of tough old cow roast, grilled on a griddle, then covered in powdered gravy mix, served with dry instant mashed potatoes, and summer squash sauteed with yellow onions overpowering the flavor of the summer squash. Summer squash in February!?!?Traditionally, pot roast should be slow cooked using a great choice of beef chuck roast, slow cooked with onion, celery, and carrots, and roasted potatoes.There was absolutely no effort to make this situation better. The owner was trying to tell me it was great pot roast. Absolutely no customer service.

I spent 20 years frequenting this restaurant loving every meal I had there, then I moved to NH and hadn't been back until today, with friends in the same situation. Now that they took over the Dockside, nothing has changed. 10 years having not been there and in a new location....OMFG the ribs and tips are still the same....unbeatable and amazing. Every detail with this place is on point. This is a place that gets it. Don't change it, or update it, or cheapen it.......even the bread is to die for..... I'm guessing piantidosi. If you dislike this place.....the problem is you. This place understands the details......maybe that's why they have been in business since the 80s.

Tomorrow is the last day in Chelsea.love this place awesome food great price great service. Moving to my home town of Malden what could be better.second location already opened in Wakefield.Cant wait for the meat to fall off the bone in Malden. yummy.
