Here's an updated review of your experience at Tu Casa in Chelsea, including your observations about the cleanliness and service:---I recently visited Tu Casa in Chelsea and was pleasantly surprised by some unique offerings on the menu. I started with a pistachio martini, something I'd never seen before. It was quite good, not too sweet and with an interesting depth of flavor, though it didn't taste very strongly of pistachio. I also tried a Paloma, which was perfectly refreshing and added a nice citrus touch to my meal. For dinner, I ordered the fried fish accompanied by tostones, rice, and a salad. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the salad was unexpectedly enjoyable, with a creamy, savory dressing that really worked well with the addition of celery. The tostones were just right—crispy on the outside while still being moist inside. The highlight, though, was definitely the fried fish. It was cooked perfectly with a satisfying crunch that made it hard to stop eating, especially when paired with the simple, tasty tomato sauce. I also tried the crispy chicken tacos, a great concept topped with cabbage and a tomato salsa. While the tacos were good, the chicken itself wasn’t seasoned enough for my taste. However, a bit of hot sauce fixed that right up, enhancing the flavors nicely. What also stood out was the attention to cleanliness and service. The staff was very proactive about keeping the place clean and were quick to clear plates, making the dining experience even more comfortable and enjoyable.Overall, Tu Casa provided a solid dining experience. It's a good spot if you're in the area and in the mood for some well-prepared dishes in a comfortable setting.

I have been going to this awesome place since 2009! It’s always been fun and the waitresses are beautiful and very nice. Great music and good prices. There was a DJ upstairs and a dance floor. I believe it has been renovated and is even better!!

The best I've had in years! The pistachio martini was a dream and the food so fresh and delicious! Thanks to Maria Isabel and Ana for a phenomenal service. I felt very at home, so the name suits them very well!

I really love the place, it is very presentable, good music and not to mention the food, which is excellent, the only bad thing is that the food always takes a while to come out.I want to add that their specials are excellent, ideal if you don't want to cook.

I wanted to surprise my wife, but too bad, we arrived at the place and a very kind man offered us a table, then the waitress offered us something to drink but she didn't give us a drinks menu, she gave us a regular food menu, when I asked her what kind of liquor she had, she told me we have beers and margaritas, I asked her about the flavors of margaritas and there weren't many options but to be exact three, I ordered two passion fruit margaritas but they didn't taste like anything, mind you it's not her fault she is a waitress and not bar tender because she was the one who prepared them. But well, we ordered a Central American shrimp ceviche and what they gave us was practically a salad with shrimp. (I will upload the photo later) We also ordered a fried calamai. I asked what sauce it came with and the waitress didn't know how to answer. She told me it comes with a white sauce..? The truth is I was expecting something better, by the way the margaritas didn't have any passion fruit flavor. and then I decided to order a beer. It's worth reading reviews before going somewhere you've never visited. . On YouTube there are many tutorials on how to make a Central American ceviche.
