Food was fantastic, we actually had the daily specials and split our plates so that we could share. Staff pleasant, food superb and right across the street from the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail, which offered superior views and fall foliage.
Good food. Good service. Very good value. We really enjoyed our dinner.
I don't understand the paper on the tables. Salad was not fresh, penne with sausage, I found 3 pcs of sausage. taste good. Place was clean- friendly service.
Chilli was great, meal I had was really good. Beer is cold. Waitress and service was really good. Recommended..
The food was totally awesome!! Staff was so friendly! We tried the bake Mac and cheese..stuff mushrooms.. mushroom beignet .. and garlic cheese bread! The mushroom beignet puts mazzoes to shame! A must try! We can’t wait to eat here again! Compliments to the chef Wednesday night!
The bartender knows how to make a good drink.
Really nice place. I found this wonderful jem on a weekend of tag sales. I enjoyed it so much that I took my mother to lunch the next day, even though it is a but of a distance for me. I would have given 5 stars but our burgers were a bit underdone for our liking. Ordered medium rare and they were very rare but all in all I enjoyed going twice in the same weekend.
We were pretty disappointed with the food and atmosphere. There was social distancing, but no outside seating.
How far they have fallen. Went for a lunch. Had to ask for napkins, then silverware. Flat out refused a substitution, and then didn't fill take out order correctly. Broasted chicken was so salty that it was hard to eat.
Service was awful. Had to ask for napkins, had to ask for utensils. Flat out refused a substitution and then didn't fill to go order correctly. Broasted chicken was so salty that it was hard to eat.

We held the rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding at the Bass Water Grill in June. The food was absolutely amazing and the portions were generous. The waitstaff were friendly and even came up with something to keep the younger children busy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Excellent service by Aliah, super friendly and very attentive even being as busy as she was. Food was perfect also.
My nephew's Rehearsal dinner was here tonight. Staff was attentive, food was outstanding. Highly recommended.
Every time we are in the area we make a point to eat here. Great food and service. Lots of good down home food choices. Prices are great too. Wish we could visit more often.
Ok the award to cutest condiments goes to bass water grill. Just cute beyond words. Wife had the Boston scrod and said it was fabulous. I had the broasted chicken which caused controversy. Being southern born and bred I considered it fried chicken. Upon further investigation broasted chicken is fried chicken under pressure. Similar to how KFC does it. The chicken was very hot in temp but not a lot of flavor. Something which I couldn't figure out was missing. I assume the chicken was brined before cooking as it was moist. Maybe they used a low or no salt version. No idea. I would get the scrod next time. I assume the broasted is just a local favorite. Bonus cuteness at the end. Wife asked for Togo cup of water. She got dinosaur cups.
