Loved visiting here - food was excellent and I enjoyed the unique atmosphere! Delicious complimentary corn bread came along with the meal. Great selection of appetizers - we had the fried pickles, which were amazing! I had one of the specials that evening - a vegetable curry dish that was very filling. When we visited, there was some live music playing. In the back there's also a small bar and mini-shuffleboard.

Stopped here after visiting Mt Greylock and so glad we did! Seems like reservations are recommended but we lucked out by getting a table. Lovely interior, attentive service and the food was delicious too!

My husband and I ate dinner here and the food was excellent! Service was wonderful, food came out in a timely manner, the restaurant was beautiful and clean. We got the Jam Burger and the Scallops and we were scraping our plates clean. Absolutely delicious!

Gem of a restaurant tucked away on a back street of a tiny town. It’s worth a trip to Chester just to eat here!

American fare but eclectic, farm to table vibe, quality ingredients and a skilled chef, delicious. I’ve been back to try different entrees, from comfort food to gourmet dishes. Incredibly reasonable considering how good it is.

A real Berkshire gem. At the risk of too many visitors, especially during the summer season, this is a place where you will find oneself coming to again and again. The owners are awesome - the craft cocktails are really out of the ordinary for this part of the Berkshires. The food is fresh, and tasty and made with real care. The live music, which draws on the many talents of Hilltown artists makes the place a verified ‘scene’ most weekends (even in the middle of winter). A very special place indeed. You’ll need reservations during the season of the Chester Theatre Company - get there by 1700 to have the best time.
