My food from here was delivered. Mediocre. No flavor. In my opinion it’s on a Taco Bell level of flavor and quality food

Really tasty tortas and enchiladas. The seating is a little tight and is really on suitable for 3 moderate sized groups. So don't have high expectations of being able to dine in.

Used to really like this place. Most recent experience has me never going back. Food has gone from exceptional to horrible over the years as the prices have climbed. Recently bought some nachos and a Birria taco plate. Photos speak for themselves. Nacho’s are flavorless and bland, the only redeeming quality is the meat. The taco plate is like a make your own taco plate but the ingredients are all dry and terrible like a boring rice bowl. $40 for this

Pretty lame $18 burrito, $21 after 15% tip. Meat was tough, avocado peel from the guac in the burrito, pretty small, lacking any flavor. What I would expect of a $5 burrito, not a $20 one.

Delicious house-made corn tortillas, tender and flavorful birria! I've enjoyed everything I've ordered from here, though they're a little stingy with the (very tasty) guac.

My go to take-out place. Chilacates is an easy dinner or lunch spot with great food and kind workers. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and eating in is always a treat. The bowl of mints at the ordering counter is the nicest touch!

The tortas and the burritos from Chilacates are our favorite! We also ask for the salsa verde and roja which pair deliciously. We always make an effort to stop by when we are in the area. For a sweet treat we also like their tres leches cake.

They have the BEST quesadillas in the greater Boston area. Good guac, yummy chips! Everything else is good too!

The restaurant appears to be open. I came this far and it is closed. The open sign is still active.

Telling them no cheese and they did the opposite and when I'm telling them no even a sorry or anything and I thought that they would make another plate but no, they just took out the cheese and processed to add beans and everything elese right in front of me...

I don’t exactly know what Chilacates means but their Steak Burritos are to die for. Authentic cuisine made with love. The prices are hidden until you pay which is unfortunate, besides that a great lunch/dinner spot in Chestnut Hill!
