Generally quite good, though my lamb chops were most definitely over cooked. Not even the slightest pink hue.

The food is overpriced for what you get. I had the lamb chops which were cooked perfectly and my spouse had grilled chicken breast. The Greek salad was fresh with tasty tomatoes and onions. The fried calamari was a bit bland. The boiled mixed vegetables were very bland. The roasted lemon Greek potatoes were average. The highlight of the evening was the desert, orange cake with ice cream.

Elegant atmosphere, attentive service with below average food quality.
Martinis were properly prepared, chilled, not diluted. Attentive service at a nicely situated bar.
Ceviche description misrepresents the dish, which is dominated by gigantic beans, feta with very little fish. Very disappointing.
Halloumi was excellent, properly seasoned.
Swordfish was tough, overcooked. For a high price at a seafood dominated restaurant, one expects more careful preparation.
Dessert was average.

We had enjoyed our previous dinner there, but yesterday's dinner was mostly greasy and not at all exceptional. Linguine was very ordinary and so were some of the other dishes. Disappointing.
I went to Limani in New York and it was absolutely stunning and the food was delicious. So of course I was expecting something similar when I came to Limani in Chestnut Hill. Boy was I disappointed!
The food was very bland and needed seasoning. I ordered the lamb chops cooked medium, and they came back undercooked. My husband ordered the salmon which came back overcooked, and his salad was swimming in dressing.
In terms of ambience, the decor was definitely not as nice as what I saw in New York. The service was great but everything else was just blah. We won't be back.

Limani was totally awful! They were “out” of much on the menu at 7 pm on a Saturday night! The servicer was not interested in explaining the menu despite repetitive questions. The soup when served was cold and the server spilled some on my lap! No apology or help with the clean up. The food for all 4 of us was cold and totally uninteresting The desert was served with no mention of a birthday despite having stated in reservation that we were celebrating a birthday. The bill came at the same time as the deserts before even the coffee. Very expensive for what it offered. Would absolutely not recommend this restaurant! FYI, First time to have ever written a negative restaurant review.
The restaurant was perfect. We had not seen each other in more than a year. We were able to re-connect in a beautiful setting overlooking the Hammond Pond. The food was exceellent, and the service was outstanding.
Upscale greek restaurant with relaxed atmosphere, great food and good service.

Seated in dark back room, despite plenty of seating available in the main room. Assuming it was where they put anyone with children, which was disappointing. Calamari was rubbery. Halibut was bland, as well as the steamed vegetables they came with. No seasoning whatsoever. Way overpriced for the experience. Will not be returning.

Consistently yummy and a pleasure. Food is fresh and fine. Love the Greek chardonnay. Dined with another lady friend and 3-4 appetizers were plenty for us and even had some to take home! Service was lovely, kind, attentive but also gave us time to choose and visit with one another. Will be going back within a few days with my husband. It's his favorite place.
our experience was dampened terribly by our service person who claimed he was the night manager. One of the guests at the table told him she had a garlic allergy and asked about a specific dish, and he answered there was no garlic in it, when there was. He was dismissive of her concerns, and while he apologized after we called him on it, he was not at all genuine. She became quite ill that evening. We will never return to the restaurant.
The four of us shared appetizers- gigante beans, tomato salad, and fried zucchini and eggplant, all delicious. Then each couple shared a filleted fish entree and they were both outstanding. Beautifully presented and prepared. Dessert was a custard, filo and ice cream dessert who h was yummy.
What a beautiful restaurant!!! Went here for “linner” and was still able to partake in the prix fixe lunch special. For $30, it was a really good deal. I definitely left full and satisfied. I could imagine that coming here for dinner could be pretty pricey, and I’m not sure if the food would be worth it then. However, for the price of the lunch special, the food was definitely worth it, and I would go back.
The ambiance is amazing and makes this restaurant and must try. Very beautiful and classy. The tables by the windows have such a beautiful view of the lake and changing leaves.
Our service was amazing too, but we came at an off time (around 2 PM) … so the place was not busy at all. Not sure how the service is when there are more patrons and the staff would be more stressed.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this place for lunch and a view by the windows.
