Branzino was perfect. All other entrees and dessert need some work. Tenderloin not tenderloin. Meat tough and had to spit it out. Salmon overcooked. Dessert donuts (loukamades) undercooked and under dressed. Apps were all delicious.
We had lunch reservation for the party of 7 we intended to get Fixed 3 course menu of 3 courses that costs $30-38 per person, a decent deal. However upon arrival we were told that this won't be available for us because they only offer it to the party up to 6 people!
This totally defeats the purpose of our choice for this particular restaurant. We explained this to the waiter and asked to speak to the manager to resolve this and get an exception as we were not advised about it when we made a reservation. The waiter resisted and said he won't call the manager as she is out, so I asked for the acting manager and explained we would have to leave for another restaurant nearby unless I speak with the manager.
Then and only then did the waiter call manager and offered the fixed menu to 4 people in our party out of 7. While this conundum left a sour feeling, we decided to stay.
Then we experienced a mediocre job from the same waiter who set the wine away from the table and then didn't show up to pour it. Then busers didn't clean dishes for some time and overall service was not good, certainly didn't match the food quality which was the only thing decent at Limani.
We have been to Boston location many time, enjoyed it and recommended it to many friends, but after leaving south of $600 in the Chestnut Hill location and average experience, this will be our last time.

Ordered lobster linguine. The sauce can use a bit more aroma and maybe a pinch of salt; it was rather bland. The deserts were great however, especially the absolut chocolate.
Limani was just okay. Decor was the best part if you could ignore the ice tank with fish surrounded by wilting peppers that had seen better days. The floor around our table was sticky and the food all extremely salty. Tzatziki was good though. If I had to go back I would be okay with it, but I wouldn't seek it out.
Comfortable setting for lunch with friends. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was good.
We planned a college graduation party at Limani because we found exactly what we were looking for: stylish food, a classy room, and great value, in a location convenient for people coming from all over metro Boston. But the real test of the restaurant came when a family member became gravely ill, we got phone calls summoning everyone to the hospital, and I had to cancel the party on (literally) 45 minutes' notice. Limani cooked and boxed up full meals for everyone, to take to the hospital cafeteria. They arrived still warm, and they were delicious and perfectly cooked. We were treated wonderfully by wonderful people.

Saganaki not as expected. It wasn't fired in a skillet but like breaded and just warm. Without the fire/broil, the flavor just wasn't great.
We have been to this restaurant many times Food was really average- used to be far better Maybe a Tuesday evening wasn't seeing them at their best Waiter told us we could have chosen a better wine The server wanted to clear the starters (that we were still eating) because the main course was ready! And it's disproportionately expensive Won't return in a hurry
Excellent food and service, amazing Greek food, I didn't understand the score in Google is 4.0 , for me the restaurant it's easy 4.5.

I have been to Limani for a work event before, and liked the place. So my husband picked it for dinner on Mother’s Day (he made a reservation). We were stuck in the very end of the second room and had to wait for forever for everything. When the waitress finally came we were ready to order but she said we could order when she brought our drinks (which took a long time and she didn’t bring kids drinks at the same time when she brought adult drinks - only after she brought kids drinks she took our order). When we finally got to order our food, the table that came after us already got their appetizers. By this time the kids were stuffed with bread which they brought out twice (at least they didn’t completely starve the kids). 2 hours (!) into our dinner the waitress brought my husbands main course and said that they ran out of Moussaka (which was my order per her suggestion). By this time multiple tables that arrived after us already had their food, paid and left. The waitress offered a substitute for me of a filet mignon kebab which actually came pretty fast. I asked my husband to eat his meal while it was still warm so we all had main courses at different times. The waitress (decent thing) took off my main course off the check. My husband still left 20% tip, because the waitress took off my main course and he is always leaves generous tips.
I understand that Mother’s Day is busy, and I understand that they can run out of particular menu items, and don’t expect same food quality as on a regular night, but it literally took more than 2 hours to get our main courses (and kids were stuffed with bread by the time we got our appetizers). Not sure why we were left behind while everybody around us (most of them having arrived after us) got their food, ate, paid, and left. One thing I know is that we will not be going back there for sure. Too bad, I liked the place the first time I went there.

Everything was amazing tonight(valentine’s day).
I gave food 4 stars because its usually good but sometimes some things are a miss. Even though, if you stick to a few popular dishes they are always very good.
Service is always great.
Tonight the atmosphere specifically (with the signer they had) was amazing. Great night.

My family and I came to dinner for a family celebration and were extremely happy we chose Limani! From start to finish, everything was superb! The food was amazing, service impeccable, atmosphere beautiful! I can’t remember the managers name, she was a young beautiful woman, she came over to our table a few times to check on us, she went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great! We will definitely be back and highly recommend Limani!

As a true Greek, I had high expectations. Many restaurants, in my opinion, claim to be authentic but miss the mark. I was pleased that Limani was actually authentic. I loved the appetizers my family and I chose. We partook if the calamari and Limani fries. Both were cooked extremely well. I was particularly fond of the veggies that accompanied the fries. My meal was the Limani burger, which was cooked to a perfect temperature and had great toppings. I will go again.

Amazing!
If I could give ten stars for service, I would. I had a last-minute function to plan last month. Alex, the GM, went so far above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everything was perfect. The place is beautiful. The food was fantastic. The staff was so kind and attentive. You could tell they had thought out all the little details and taken care of them. A+++.
Parking: Shares parking with a long shopping area (sort of a street mall). Large lots out back.
Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator from bar-lobby to large dining area.
