Came as a guest...not certain how one finds this place, but a place it IS! Group of us left an event at the park up the street a friend recommended a stop here...some how we landed in the parking lot across the drive and wandered into what felt like a large closet. YES, we serve food and a wide variety for the casual counter we're standing in front of. This appears to be a golf club food shack. Clearly, this venue is not run by the club; but, by restauranteurs who know the drill. Reading the reviews...seemed fair except their low hype and big delivery charmed us to returning and returning. Hemlock offers the best of all seasons...Food...Decks for the Summer afternoons and cozy fall vibe inside to drink the winters away...to get back on those decks.

Great food. Fresh, delicious, friendly staff.
This is the club house of a golf course. Driving range available, so a nice place to practice or play and have a nice quality meal after of before your round.

The Hemlock Bar and Grill at Brookline Country Club is a true hidden gem! The food was outstanding—especially the jerk chicken, which was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat, and the prime rib was absolutely delectable, tender, and full of flavor. The ambiance was elegant yet relaxed, making it perfect for both a casual lunch or a special dinner. The staff were attentive and welcoming, adding to the overall great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back—this place is a must-visit!
Hole in One dining!
Best fried chicken in the Boston area. BBQ isn't bad either. We went on a cold day and the fireplace was nice and warm. Definitely want to go back soon.
Great food and service. Fried chicken is amazing so is the burger. My opinion pulled pork is just ok, not bad by any means tho.
Best fish sandwich I’ve ever had in my life… thank you ☺️

I’ve heard great things about Hemlock. Very much looking forward to touring their menu. However, after a 45 minute drive with the family, we arrived at Hemlock only to discover that the restaurant was closed for a private event. We walked around the clubhouse to the back patio, there was no service there either.
Hemlock’s website and social media pages say that it is open to the public, and there was no indication that it would be closed prior to our arrival at 5PM on a Saturday. We were disappointed… I would recommend calling first to ensure that they are actually serving the public; if we try again, I know we will!

Made a point of sticking around after golf to try Hemlock's fried chicken after Boston Globe. Two pieces were great - really nice crispy batter - but the third was a large piece of skin and gristle with no actual meat that was deep fried - kind of off-putting, to be honest. Fries were ok. Was hoping for better. Kind of annoying that i had already pre-tipped at cash register. Outdoor patio was very nice, watching the golfers come home. Hopefully I will have better luck next time.

Pretty good hot chicken sandwich, good bit spicier than I expected. Breading was interesting, a bit more crispy like potato chips than say standard fried chicken so I was a bit on the fence about it. Friends loved the regular sandwich.
There’s indoor and patio seating. Was mostly quiet, some music and golf TV in background but was a nice lunch spot to be able to hear conversation
The BBQ is top notch. Brisket sandwich is the best I've had outside Texas. Moist, not a lot of fat. Note the sauce on pulled pork and brisket are tangy mustard (NC-style?). A gem inside the golf course clubhouse.

This place is hands down the best fried chicken in the greater Boston area, and it's not close. They also make a great fish and chips, and an exceptional biscuit. Their green salad is pretty darn solid also. Never had a meal that was less than fantastic here.
