Van Leeuwen Ice Cream

I have been buying the buttermilk berry cornbread such a unique flavor. It’s so good. I’m so addicted to it. I’ve never tasted such a grape flavor in ice cream ever.

Terrible business ethics and customer service practices. Avoid this company. They will not make things right when THEY screw up. They will lie, cheat, and even evade customers to avoid taking any sort of responsibility. Shame on them.

I recently checked out Van Leeuwen and it was such a delightful experience! Their homemade ice creams are incredibly creamy, with fun flavors. I got honeycomb and brown sugar cookie dough and it was very yummy. The staff are super friendly and the interior is great for taking pictures, with bright colors and decor. Highly recommended.

Give sizeable samples to help customers decide what flavor to get! I got the brown sugar cookie dough brownie ice cream after deciding the peanut butter brownie honeycomb wasn't for me.

Cashier will not take cash directly but they have a reverse-ATM (picture below).

Update: vanilla cake ice cream has frosting in it and is amazing, as is the fudge brownie

When your charging close to $7 for a tiny ice cream you would expect a wonderful experience but you just won't find it here. The place is dismally understaffed resulting in long wait times on a Friday night. They were out of waffle cones and they don't tell you until after you have waited nearly 30 minutes. While the flavors were great, the portions are tiny. There were no napkins to be found and then they charged my son's kiddy as a small. All I can say is hopefully they hire some more scoopers because otherwise I wouldn't waste my time returning. There are many other quality ice cream places in the area where you won't wait 30 minutes for a tiny sccop.
