View is always great. Service was also good. The buffet was $25 and the food was not fresh at all. My 9 year old barely ate anything and we were charged full price. Very disappointed.
The Golden Eagle Restaurant, perched on the iconic Hairpin Turn along the Mohawk Trail, offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, especially during the fall. The red, orange, golden yellow trees are magical! While dining, you are treated to stunning views of the vivid and vibrant autumn foliage blanketing the landscape. The scenery is truly mesmerizing, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal while soaking in the natural beauty.

I love the Golden Eagle, it's been a staple of my stops along Rt 2 for decades. Family owned. Food has always been amazing. They are recently doing a buffet style because help is hard to find. I found the buffet to be tasty and it's helping to turn tables faster on the weekends when it's very busy.
To K'Oshea below, geez give them a break, maybe you caught them on a busy weekend and the bathroom wasn't spotless and no one in that family...
