Wanted some muffins or pastries- manager said they didn't have any that morning, so I walked out. Wouldn't really stop me from going back but was disappointed.

I was really excited to try this place. It's very cute and just looked like they'd make good espresso. Unfortunately I was disappointed by the experience. The employees didn't seem super thrilled to be there and the beverages were disappointing. My husband's coffee was very watery and my latte unfortunately tasted like diner coffee with flavor added to it. The wait was also surprisingly long for two drinks. I really wanted to like this place but unless those things improve (but mostly the drinks, I can handle grumpy if the coffee is good) I can't justify returning.

Purchased ice coffee twice ..terrible tastes burnt and barely milk. Tastes worst than Starbucks. Baristas don’t know they are doing.
Good though is good, especially pistachio bagels one.

Chill cafe with excellent coffee options and light food menu. Inevitably we gravitate to Coffeelands whenever we visit Clinton after walking around the city and/or visiting the Icon Museum. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Free street parking. Probably can get crowded on weekends; but weekdays are great just to hang out.

This is a lovely little neighborhood gem in downtown Clinton. Lots of atmosphere, games, books, 80's style Pac-Man/Galaga video game arcade coin-op (for free). The two baristas working this morning were incredibly kind in remaking a drink for me due to my *own* error in ordering! Thanks so much, guys.
Edit: I've edited my review a bit to let people know who may be dairy-free, like me: the matcha powder Coffeelands uses has milk (and soy) in it. I had ordered it several times before a barista told me that it had milk in the powder, and verified it today by them showing me the package.
Dietary restrictions: They have almond and other milks for those of us that can't consume dairy.

I went for the first time, even though I didn’t care for what I ordered, I will go back again! ( I tried something new) The two people working were very friendly. They made every effort when I told them I didn’t care for my meal. I ended up with bagel and cream cheese that was really. My friend had a blt, she loved it. It’s comfy and nicely decorated.
