Great, family run restaurant. Very friendly, attentive and excellent menu and food. On the day we were there, it was a bit cold, but definitely should be on your list when you're in the area!
We have been stopping here for breakfast a few times a month.The food is always very good, as are the prices. The owner & staff are friendly.But it goes beyond the food being good.Last visit after working a 12.5 hour shift, we finished our breakfast and when we were ready to leave found that the car would not start. While calling AAA the owner’s son and two customers came out to see if everything was ok & ask if they could help. They got us started.In a time when it’s hard to find a single person willing to go out of their way to help you we had three. Three people that we only know to say hi to when we see them in the restaurant. We do not even know their names.This is Clinton”s Sunshine Cafe. Not just great food and prices but friendly people that are willing to help you. People that make you feel welcome.I would highly recommend this place.

I guess if your not white your not welcome here...me and my family three of us came in at around 11:30 and after waiting to be greated at door they say we can seat ourselves so we did...we sit down and an older lady comes by fixing the other tables utensils next to us and says I'll get you guys some menus without even looking at us or truly acknowledging our presence after a few mins she come back to the empty table and with menus in hand and proceeds to rearrange the utensils an walks off menus on empty table leaving me confused at this point we havnt gotten anything or offered if we would like anything....she than come back and grabs the menus and goes back to dealing with other people...as we are debating just leaving after being clearly ignored for about 20mins at this point a family of 5 walk in and get greated at door with menus a coffee pot and a warm smile they got escorted to the table next to us by the same lady and she began serving them literally ignoring us the whole time as this is happening a small family walks in and also gets greated and given menus at another table behind us all while we still havnt gotten anything frustrated I left...definitely will not be back or recommend truly pathetic

Your typical 90s diner vibes with friendly staff, large portions, and great coffee. Came here on a whim feeling hungry and left feeling well feed. Even though they are short staffed, they handled things super well. Will come again when around.
