Finally got to the Melody Maker this morning, and I’m so mad that it took me this long! Zach (spelling?) was welcoming and cheerful. I ordered two bagel sandwiches, an iced chai and a black iced coffee. Everything was made fresh and reasonably fast! The vibe is amazing, with lots of local art and crafts for sale. My bagel sandwich (the mozzarella Vespa) was EXCELLENT and my chai was delicious. We will be returning soon!

This is a real hidden gem of Clinton - and I do mean HIDDEN! It's around back of an old mill building, and as you drive in for the first time, you might question if you're in the right place. But yes - you are! I was drawn in by the funny signs at the road and decided to give it a try. Did not disappoint. Friendly staff and owner, delicious food (try the Not Nutella Me Nothing if you really want to indulge!) and yummy drinks.

the barista’s are very sweet and zac is so rad! i look forward to reading the phrases he displays on the signs and tip mugs. i always have a pleasant experience and love supporting my local coffee shop. the *grilled* bagels take the cake. i highly recommend you check out the stunning atomosphere at the melody maker. oh, and buy yourself a fancy guitar…. you deserve it.

best coffee/guitar shop with the best employees! i come here a couple times a week and my girlfriend plays guitar while we enjoy our food & coffee. it’s really a hidden gem in a small town like Clinton:)

Love this place for what it is- a unique experience, and unique store. Definitely best bagels in Clinton, you’re out of your mind if you go to the chain across the street for a bagel sandwich when this place exists! I also really appreciate their dietary restriction options. Oh, and the attitude from the owner is top notch.

Parking: In a shared area with an apartment complex and doggie daycare so plenty of parking although not all central to the shop

The employees? Absolutely awful. They happily explained to me what the special latte was and told me to ask if I had any questions.
The breakfast sandwich? Unfortunately delicious, now I'll be thinking about the focaccia bagel daily.
The atmosphere? Sickly. Cool art, fun neon sign, people jamming on the drums, witty and snarky signage.

In all seriousness, I'll be back.
