There are endless lists that recommend “the best lobster roll” you need to try. There is no better lobster roll than the one at 5 South Main - nice pillowy roll with a generous serving of lobster meat coated (but not soaked) in mayo. Also recommend the chicken Caesar wrap. The staff is always really pleasant. Have primarily gone for the takeout, but also have enjoyed dining in. Very cozy in here (4 to 6 tables). Perfect place to come when looking for a very small and quiet atmosphere. Menu is just the right size - everything is freshly prepared. Very generous pours of wine for anyone dining in for dinner.

This place is home to the tastiest and best value lobster roll. Forget a wimpy hot dog bun, this thing is stuffed on a giant grilled roll - it’s perfect. Not too much mayo and perfect for splitting.
Great value and tasty menu, something for everyone. A must do for a casual lunch in Cohasset!

Great selection of excellent sandwiches. Fresh, quality served hot and good-looking lunchtime meals. Served by friendly and nice staff. The place is small but not too cramped. Coffee was not the best, but then if a coffee snob don't order coffee at a restaurant :). Have also had a good breakfast here in the past... I guess take out is popular based on the number of pick up orders while we had lunch

We happened to be in the area looking for a casual lunch spot and found 5 south main. Very nice staff with a wide selection of menu options w. We had excelled lam chowder, chicken Caesar wrap, hot honey chicken sandwich, and three layer turkey sandwich- all were excellent!

Good food! Had the spareribs, eggplant in garlic sauce, veggi delight, house fried rice and chop suey with shrimp. Also the chicken teriyaki. All was very good, tasty and satisfying.
