Cove Harbor Bar + Restaurant

We stopped in here for an unexpected date night and LOVED it. The outside bar, the ocean, and the amazing good karma from Robin (who usually works at The Red Lion) at the bar made it the perfect night. While a lil' music would go a long way, we understand from the enthusiastic manager that the sound carries to adjacent neighbors. The shrimp scampi is a MUST HAVE....we rarely leave our beloved Scituate Harbor but absolutely plan to come back.

We live in Hingham and just did a search for waterfront restaurants. I saw the website for this restaurant and a cute picture of the patio. We opted to give it a try. We both wanted to try their Shrimp Scampi. We sat at the inside bar first and Karen, the bar waitress, told us the Schrimp Scampi was taken off the menu the night before. HUGE disappointment. Ok - I'm going to give 3 Stars because there were some bright spots to what could have been a complete disaster. First, we arrived and were sat at a great location overlooking the harbor.
