This bakery has the best, we recently tried the fruit tart at our Friendsgiving and it was a huge hit. You can tell they make everything with love- highly recommend this place for all your bakery needs!

An absolute gem of a French bakery in the center of the cute village of Cohasset. The pastries and desserts are absolutely top shelf.

The Debbie's Delight cake that you made for my dad's 85th birthday party yesterday was outstanding. Everyone raved about it and now I'm officially in charge of bringing desserts to family gatherings! Thank you:-)

My partner and I come to French Memories almost every weekend. We have tried so many different pastries and have had so much fun getting to pick them out and box them up. My personal favorites from this bakery are the almond croissants, strawberry croissant with custard, chocolate eclairs (they also have vanilla and coffee), and a puff pastry with hazelnut filling (not sure what it’s called). It’s always extremely busy, but the staff handle it amazingly. The food is very well priced, fresh every time that we get it, and perfectly baked. Please go here if you want authentic French pastries!

Everything in the bakery cases looked so delicious I could hardly choose. I wanted to try one of everything! On top of the incredible selection of pastries, cookies, breads, cakes, and other goodies, the service was second to none. Cashiers were friendly and eager to talk to customers. And let me tell you, this place had plenty of customers when I was here but the wait was nonexistant. It didn't take long at all to get my order situated despite the afternoon rush at hand. It's easy to see why this bakery is so popular with the locals: there's nothing not to love. So, in conclusion, if you are looking for something closer to a European style cafe with a laid-back and friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go. If I lived within walking distance, I'd be here all the time, but sadly it will have to remain a once-in-a-while treat for me. If you live close by, don't hesitate to take advantage of that and try it out. You will definitely thank me (and yourself!)

This is an amazing bakery owned and operated by multiple generations of a lovely family and their friends! The sandwiches and pastries are divine and I especially LOVE their chocolate eclairs. Cohasset is so lucky to have them!

French Memories bakery is my favorite place to get breakfast when I'm on the south shore. The almond croissants and cinnamon croissants are AMAZING, as is everything I've tried! for lunch the chicken salad sandwich on a fresh baguette is my favorite. Service is always friendly and it always feels so cozy inside. I always end up taking a box of pastries home with me whenever I go!

Please work harder at keeping your pastries hair free. Found a black hair in our cinnamon danish. Thank you.

When I was a kid in the early 90’s they were absolutely amazing. Their duck pate on baguette was my favorite as well as their pain aux raisins, croissant, pain au chocolate and lemon tart. Honestly everything was 10/10, you couldn’t find anything like them in the South Shore. 30 years later not so good. Everything is old and the owners are nowhere to be seen.

Terrific premade items on display but DO NOT EVER preorder anything special made for a holiday or event. They don't care about handing you a boxed disaster without warning and with no email contact or phone voicemail (they don't answer) to fix the issue.I ordered a $30 french fruit tart for Thanksgiving and it's not even suitable to be seen nevermind tasted. Photos are what the item was supposed to look like and the other is what I received.
