We came here because the reviews were so great, however we were very disappointed. The place does have a lot of potential, but is clearly run by inexperienced staff who don’t respond well to criticism in person or online. Food was just ok but took way too long, our server never checked on us once we received our food and the kitchen ran out of an item and substituted without speaking with us first. After we complained about a very inedible item we were still charged and then both staff and owners gave us an attitude when we complained. To top it all off, our server dropped our check while we were still eating, which was very rude since we were planning on bringing home some of their donuts which looked really delicious, but felt like they were rushing us out the door. Overall sub par experience which was a bummer!

Nice young couple seem to be running this establishment. Service was prompt, food was good. Some clever menu items. Pricing in line with the area demographics. If you want quick in and out or a relaxed dine in experience you will have the option of either.

I stopped in on a whim to grab a coffee and snack to go. However, I couldn’t resist ordering a breakfast sandwich. I am so glad I did! Best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in the entire area. Will def come back!

This is one of the best breakfast places I've ever had. Their white bread is phenomenal, genuinely never had bread that good before. I had a simple egg and cheese on white with maple chipotle mayo and it was perfect. They also have Chelsea Fire hot sauces which are local and they are delicious too, I'll be ordering from them too. No picture because I ate it too fast.

The best breakfast place around! Highly recommend stopping in. The breakfast sandwiches they make are amazing and the fresh doughnuts are so good! The Feldman and Roger That are great. Everyone in our family loves to eat here.

Quaint atmosphere with excellent service. The Feldman was to die for. Fried Chicken sauced with a five spice blend nested within various greens, red onions, and a fried egg that’s out of this world. I replaced the bacon with turkey bacon, but it was still delicious. My wife who is not a usual fan of English Muffins was extremely impressed by the home baked one they used for her sandwich. We went twice so that she could try the Feldman and she loved it as well. The cold brew coffee is strong and is of lower acidity enough to be drank either with or without cream. Overall, an excellent staple to be enjoyed here often.

I had the absolute best experience at Black Cat Breakfast and Bakery in Cohasset. This charming little diner is warm, welcoming, and feels like having breakfast with friends you’ve known forever. Quentin and Lauren, the married owners, are incredible hosts who truly make you feel at home.
Not only was the conversation great—we chatted about their adorable eight-month-old baby and shared stories—but the food was absolutely fantastic. Everything is made in-house, from the bread to the muffins. I had a grilled apple cinnamon muffin with butter and a bacon, egg, and cheese on their homemade English muffin, and both were incredible.
If you’re looking for a cozy spot with amazing food and even better hospitality, Black Cat Breakfast and Bakery is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Best egg sandwiches around. My go to is the coleman with hash browns. My 5 year also loves them! Freshest ingredients. You won’t be disappointed
